Oh yeah Versteeg's Kessel story about eating an entire bowl of cheese before a game was legendary, his cadence and impressions just kills me. It's almost a year later and it still cracks me up thinking about it

Agree, I really like Marek's show so far.
Also, the fact he doesn't say "You know" and "100%" constantly makes him an instant upgrade from the show directly after his.

Still remember when Elliott was having reno’s done and was complaining so much about time and contractors and whatever. Then the morning show proceeds to edit bleeps into his rant, making it like he was saying F*** every other word.
Probably the funniest thing I’ve ever heard on that show.

Sportsnet Today, currently airing and is awful. I don’t mind Logan or Riley but the two of them having a show is unlistenable.

I'm curious what the show will be like in a month or two after they get a rhythm and some segments solidified. It's a new show and has lots of potential to improve.

Logan is horrible on air. I’m sure he’s a great guy, but I tune out every time he is on the air. Has the worst case of marbles in the mouth.

Yeah, there's a few at 960 that kinda have that "first job out of college" feel to them. Seems weird that Canada's 4th largest city has people like that on their flagship sports station, but I guess that just reflects the rough shape that industry in general is in presently.

Who is program director now at the Fan? Week 1 of the NHL season, MLB Playoffs, World Cup Qualifiers and NFL and Pinder is on holidays. That would be like and H&R Block guy being off during tax season!

Of all the 960 guys I’ve met in person Pinder was by far the friendliest, most approachable and “normal” (ie didn’t seem to have a media ego at all). Just throwing that out there

I am so glad boomer/warrener/pinder are back as a trio.
I enjoy their differing opinions on the flames, and their interactions and humour is quite organic in my opinion.
Each seems somewhat lacking/flawed as a radio persons, but together, it's a strong team, in my opinion.
Enough for me to be tuning in every morning, despite living in Toronto.

That's fine and all that he's personable when you meet him. But, on the air.. I'm not a fan. That's just me though. If you like him, great!
