Pretty good episode. Jason felt at home and a it showed.

Brandi Carlile was great too, first real musicians this season.

Not strictly snl related.

I can’t believe Olivia Wilde dumped Jason for that boy band dork.

I saw John Mulaney on Seth’s show and apparent he’s a recovering coke addict who relapsed after he last hosted, recently divorced his wife and is now dating Olivia Munn.

Olivia Munn is expecting John’s baby and apparently in the last few days news has leaked that he has been cheating on her now! That guy has issues.

How do you explain the "What's Up with That" phenomenon??? I know exactly what's gonna happen, what Thompson's gonna say and what he's gonna sing... And yet, it's uncontrollable hysteric laugh each and every time he rolls his eyes when the high-hat starts ticking...

Brandy Carlisle was a pleasant surprise, even though she seemed way too keen on finding that open D-chord. This is the second time (after Srugill Simpson) I've heard a country singer doing something I can actually enjoy listening to - both seen on SNL for the first time.

I thought they were off this week?

EDIT: They are. Sheeran is scheduled to be the musical guest on November 6. They have plenty of time to find a replacement, I would think.
