And I was up by 7 points, with my opponent having Tom Brady. I conceded defeat yesterday evening, but apparently I won.
Huzzah!!!

Wasn't expecting such a blowout last night. It kind of ticks me off that Miami faultered in hapless Buffalo. We could have been playing for first place next week. I still have hove that the fins will make the playoffs. Although I do realize it is a "homer" hope and not really a realistical hope.

The question is how could you guys blame him for not wanting any team to accomplish the same feat.
If I was apart of the only unbeaten team that won a superbowl, I'd be hoping that, that record would stay. Why would I want to share that accomplishment with anyone else?
I can see the hate because of his arrogance maybe, but I highly doubt his life will be crushed. I am sure he will be upset at first but he would get over it. The media overhypes this more than anything.

I think the Saints sweep the board, then go on to win it all matching the Fish for the only team to go undefeated and win it all. Of course, I am also totally bias cause I am a Saints fan.

It's the fact that he's a mouth piece... not because he doesn't want to share the feat with anyone else. I don't really care that the old Dolphins get together to celebrate when the last undefeated team loses... it's the fact that Morris runs his mouth for 7-8 weeks.
The whole "life will be crushed" thing was a hyperbole... but considering how he crawls out of his hole every time a team goes 11-0, I wouldn't doubt that his life would be without meaning after a team duplicates an undefeated season.

I seriously can't think of a defense that can contain the Saints.
Dallas can get pressure on the QB, but the secondary is not all that deep, they can't stop the runand that defense has been WILDLY inconsistant.
Arizona...can't say I know all that much about the defense, young and agressive secondary, but after Dockett who else makes plays in the front 7? Guess I'll find out more about that defense this Sunday.
Minnesota can pressure the QB and stop the run, but the secondary....well not all that great. If Winfield ever comes back, they are stronger, but not enough to stop Brees.
The Packers WITH Al Harris might have had a chance, but with just Woodson and Williams, I can't see the secondary getting it done. And I'm pretty skeptical about that defense all together.
All 4 of these teams have big play offenses, that could potentially match the Saints, but (an obviously I may be biased) I think the Vikings are the best suited offense in a shootout with NO.
I guess only time will tell, to see if NO does something to shoot themselves in the foot, becuase I think that's the only way they loose.

I don't mind Mercury Morris, he just got too much pub when the Pats were doing their thing. He just seemed to get more and more "######y" about it.
My Dolphins fan friend was torn on who to cheer for last night because of something that happened before he was born. That's just silly.

Will NO decide to rest starters? It sounds like Indy will rest Manning regardless of a chase for a perfect season, just as they have in previous years.
Although I don't think Indy's playoff record has shown a huge benefit to the extra time off. But I guess it reduces the chances of an injury.

I was listening to Sirius 124 this morning when Adam Schein and Rich Gannon interviewed Chris Cooley of the Red Skins. They had him describe the system that the Skins are using to get an offensive game plan together right now and what a freaking mess. One guy works with Campbell on the passing game another guy designs pass plays, another guy designs run plays. On game day Sherm Lewis like a good bingo caller sits in the press box and says Run or Pass. Than the appointed run and pass specialist decide what the situation is and assign that level of pass or run play. Sound like Lewis is in the play box flipping coins. Even Cooley seemed surprised that the Skins have been able to score a few more points the past few weeks.

I don't think NO can afford to rest starters unless Minnesota loses another game. Home field advantage is priority #1 for the Saints, IMO.

No no no....you guys need to rest your starters. Maybe start after you clinch your division this week. Brees deserves a rest for all the work he's done.

Agree completely Montana. New Orleans isn't thinking about resting there starters at all till they've locked up that #1 seed.

If I'm the Colts, I'm still trying pretty hard this week to win this game for the simple reason that I want to keep the Titans out of the playoffs.

Indy won't start resting players until the #1 seed in the AFC is locked up. 3 more wins clinches it but 2 more wins will most likely get the job done in that regard. Caldwell said 16-0 means nothing. If Indy can get to 14-0 (13-0 if the Bengals or Chargers drop a game in the next 2 weeks) then guys like Manning, Freeney, Mathis, Wayne, Clark, Addai, etc will not see action in the last 2 to 3 games (or very limited at most). I'd like to go 16-0 but really that doesn't mean much compared to winning it all.

I can't believe the Saints are 11-0 and are only holding a one game lead on home field advantage. The league is so polarized this year, its crazy.

I think it's funny how in both his stints as a Saint, his first game was the ESPN night game where he found himself lined up against Randy Moss(2004 week 6 against the Vikings being the other time). I'd say he fared alot better this time around...

AFC's pro bowl leading vote getters at each position : QB Peyton Manning Indianapolis Colts 853,565 DE Indianapolis Colts 322,155 RB Cedric Benson Cincinnati Bengals 469,568 DT 175,049 FB 123,228 OLB James Harrison Pittsburgh Steelers 182,187 WR Andre Johnson Houston Texans 422,888 ILB Baltimore Ravens 237,415 TE Dallas Clark Indianapolis Colts 462,638 CB 274,787 OT 169,801 SS Pittsburgh Steelers 286,065 OG 181,816 FS Baltimore Ravens 232,484 C Indianapolis Colts 346,257 P 79,459 K Indianapolis Colts 112,337 ST Joshua Cribbs 99,147 KR 117,862
From the Colts: Manning, Freeney, Clark and Saturday are all deserving. Vinatieri is obviously a popularity contest. I thought Reggie Wayne should be ahead of Johnson at WR. Moss/Welker from NE could be there as well.
