Even tonight he could have easily had more points. Guys firing wide open shots wide.
Yep, not excusing everything but he is a playmaker on a team without many finishers...guy still has it

you know how you know hes feeling it? on the 2nd Sharangovich goal last night he's looking at the goalie while he makes that cross ice pass between two sticks. Amazing what some confidence can do.

I hate to drum on this point Ad Nauseum but...move the puck FAST.

Like...if I got a chance to just duct-tape Savard to dolley or something and shove him in a broom closet and became 'Powerplay Coach' for a day...thats all I'd say.

Move the puck FAST.

Didn't catch the game unfortunately, but the highlight there was Coleman's pass on the first goal!

I thought his third goal was really pretty too. Huberdeau's little drag inside through traffic, Lindholm sees everyone coming to him and picks out the perfect cross ice pass, buried upstairs.

The third goal being on the powerplay, but still some really crappy defensive coverage there. They were all in tight focusing in the same spot allowing Sharangovich to sneak in totally unnoticed.

The coverage was crappy because the Flames had completely overwhelmed and exhausted the defense with sustained pressure.

Something particularly interesting about that PP - it was Huberdeau, Lindholm, Kadri, Sharangovich and Weegar.

Time to turn the keys over to the guys who’ll be driving the bus long term.
