Eichel had the injury scare. But he plays the more important position and Tkachuk’s contract situation complicates matters. Call it a saw-off.

Remember the packages for Eichel people were batting around? Most proved way out of line with the actual return. Expect the same here.

Yeah I’d much rather we drafted Tyson Jost instead of Tkachuk, Michael St. Croix instead of Gaudreau and Cliff Pu instead of Adam Fox.

Would have worked out much better with those three Canadian kids instead of these three Americans.
