^ Well that sucks. Do you have any Crucible quests? Maybe just overlooking one, getting the name wrong or something? Or perhaps you had completed one of the faction parts of the quest, the game is waiting for you to return to the faction representative to turn it in? I noticed that if you have to visit a location not in the main Tower, the quest icon doesn't show up noticeably. The only waypoint indication is the white/grey icon which is easy to overlook as a "You have a message waiting" indicator.

I did the full Shaxx Crucible quest this past week. I guess it is a lot easier than it used to be. In the end it wasn't really too bad, since you can double down on some of the quest parts (e.g. play Rift while getting hand cannon kills). And on that note, Rift is terrible. Every game I got put on a team against an opposing fireteam of 4 or 5. At least you can check off the completion with 4 losses.

It did used to be terrible, where losses on certain items counted for nothing, so you could play for a number of matches with absolutely no progress. It's worth it in my opinion if you like PvP at all, because clearing Shaxx bounties gives you a chance at a 335 drop for each completion.

Figured out where to find my crucible quest.
It was in my abandoned quest kiosk, but for some reason the kiosk wouldn't let me scroll to the second or third page of abandoned quests. I had to re-acquire a bunch of bs quests until there was only one page of abandoned quests available. Of course it would have been on the third page of quests.
It only took me an hour or so to get to the factions portion of the quest thankfully. The rift kills were so painful.

Iron banner is live again - game mode is clash.

Looks like the vendor scout riffle is a very good roll, so worth it to grind for that. Drops look to be in line with the past few IB, so you should be getting lots of infusion fuel just playing. Looking forward to jumping in tonight!

The rolls I've been getting on the scout through rng have been god awful.
I'm definitely going to have to buy vendor.

Considering the stats and use of all the high impact scouts, I'm personally a bigger fan of the Cocytus SR4 where you can wait for a better roll from the gunsmith. Picked one with Third Eye (a must for this archetype), Handlaid and Life Support.

I got that same roll on a last extremity.... love that gun.

Have a cocytus with life support, hand laid, and firefly as well. Going to buy this weeks package and wait for a good roll.

Anduril - you are Nhamlet right? I'm watching a Crucible "boot camp" and you are one of the players analyzed. Lots of high praise so far! Really good analysis on the whole game actually and has some easy pointers for greatly improving in PvP.

Yessir. KeenKoala's Crucible Bootcamp is great since he's one of the very few figures in the community who offer that analysis side of things similar to a coach or commentator. Lots of good players, not much of them able to explain why certain things work or alternatives to plays. By all means post it if you want to, the more people know about him the better.

Also on a side note if anybody is curious seeing a scrimmage (sweaty) match, I'm going to be streaming a match at 7pmish. Not a fancy tourney or anything.

I finally got around to trying out the vendor Ashraven's Flight from an IB or two ago. It's truly a thing of beauty with Hidden Hand, Braced Frame and Hot Swap

Picked up the Scout Rifle yesterday, but haven't had a chance to try it.

Ashraven's Flight is my go to fusion now (unless I'm using the exotic slot for Plan C). Braced frame makes it work then, then you get hidden hand and hot swap on top of that. Still working on using them better (I tend to shoot too low), but it's a good one to use.

The scout was solid too. It's no MIDA or Jade Rabbit, but if you are looking to have an exotic special, its my best pick for legendary scout right now.

I don't know how many people already know about this, but guardian.theater is my favorite third-party destiny related thing.

It looks through your game history and finds any clips recorded by any player in your games. You can see if people think they're wrecking you, or you can see some sweet plays you otherwise wouldn't have seen. My favorite part looking back through my clips was seeing one guy take 3 or 4 clips in one game whenever I had killed him. He must've been convinced I was cheating or something. It only works on One because of how the clip storage system works, but it's still pretty awesome.

Ha, whenever I see a clip of some guardian getting wrecked, called out for being useless, etc., I always look closely to see if my name shows up. Had me excited, but too bad it's not for PS4.

Also, how dumb is it that there is a top level domain for theater. They spelled it wrong
