Simms goes to the Charlie Simmer (and others) school of color broadcasting, where the blatantly obvious is regurgitated, with a couple cliches thrown in there for good measure, more often than not.

Yeah, inexcusable..Brady is in the Bronco's head, and the panic is setting in. Fox will have to regroup his team at the half here.

Broncos are embarrassing themselves. I used to live in Denver for a few years, so I'm cheering for them. But the horseshoe had to fall out eventually.

He certainly should be, having Rodgers have a down game and the Packers losing their first, will get Drew even more in the conversation.

2nd quarter killed Broncos today. Just can't give the ball to the Pats when you know they're gonna score.

Oh well, was an expected loss so not a depressing defeat.

Calvin Johnson is a machine. What a drive by the Lions to take a 28-27 lead over the Raiders with 33 seconds left. Started at their own 1 yard line and scored in 2 minutes.

Lions were down 27-14 with 5 minutes to go.

Broncos defence forgot to show up today. Tebow answered some questions and showed that he can be a NFL QB. Hard to make plays when the line can't block anyone and the defence can't put the offence on the field. Couple turnovers, a non existant defence and an idiot returner did the Broncos in

Lions win 28-27 after a 65 yard FG was blocked with no time left.

I don't know if scoring 23 points on one of the worst defenses in the NFL is "answering" a lot of questions.

They are 14th in points allowed. I don't know if that equates to one of the leagues worst defences.

Jay Feely wears receiver gloves. A placekicker wears receiver gloves. And he kicks in a dome. In the middle of the desert!

With the way the game is played these days, yardage can be a pretty over rated stat. New England's points against, sacks, and number of turn overs are all reasonable. Saints and Packers also give up a lot of yards too, and those will be the two teams in the NFC Championship game.

But today's the first time in this run where Denver had to deal with a higher end offence. Really the stars had aligned the last 6 weeks for Denver. They will likely win 9-10 games which is enough in the AFC West, and than lose to Pittsburgh in the playoffs. Although it could be a close game if Ben is beat up and the elements of Denver in January come into play.

Rivers has turned his season around, he has looked great the last 3 games, too little to late, i would imagine.
