So what's the schedule for the rest of our orders? Multi-year I'd imagine? Don't we have 30+ orders on the shelf?

Two more are built, one is coming next month and one more in July.
Total are 15 orders for this model, the 788, and 22 more for the lengthened 789, the first of which is expected in July of next year. All will be here by the end of 2018 give or take a decade, I dunno. I'll be surprised if nothing else goes wrong between now and then. The plane delivered today was expected in 2010...

I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
I am currently debating with a follower on twitter that thinks the WestJet special livery "Careantee" can be mentioned in the same breath as the Canadian "Proud Wings" livery.
For comparisons sake:
Careantee:

Your twitter follower is wrong. I understand there is no right and wrong I an opinion, but they are wrong.
The Canadian livery with the Canadian Goose is a classic, the arrow to motion forward (and in turn making the logo bilingual) is simple and elegant.
Is it the best ever? Probably not. Is it better than the care bear cartoon of WestJet? Yes. Unequivocal yes.

Posting tweets so you see where he was coming from, at one point I started to think he was straight up trolling me but you decide:
that's horrible. That was the best livery they had. It was like a happy pill flying at 37,000 feet.
it was a damn good livery. only livery that would be better would be if
@AirCanada brought retro Canadian Goose livery.
what have we had since proud wings? Nothing except careantee and magicplane. Case rested
next you guys are going to tell me the Southwest Shamu livery is no good either.
if
@westjet brings in another special livery it better be Vegas themed with Carrot Tops face worked in there
if you can't find beauty in this then you shouldn't be judging liveries. (attached was a pic of Careantee)
nothing but crap since. You're telling me you like euro white and tooth paste color jets? Puhhhhlease!
at least Careantee and now MagicPlane add some good color to our skies. More of that is needed.
I don't think it was. looked great and the slogan was like a big group hug from
@westjet to their customers
that's all I gotta say on that.
#CareAntee #MagicPlane awesome More of that needed. Over and out.

I wouldn't worry about it. Odds are he's a Westjet owner.

Careantee sucks. Proud Wings is a beauty.
There, I think we covered all aspects of that argument.

Is there a bigger "in your face" to Careantee than to paint Mickey Mouse over top of it. I think not.

There is a reason that plane was repainted into the Magic Plane.

A great logo and based on CP's multimark logo.

Also, just because of how awesome the multi mark was...
CP's Empress of Canada

Carnival bought the Empress of Canada for their first ship, Mardi Gras. Carnival's current logo is based on the multimark.

Don't believe he is, and plenty of WestJet owners have talked about hating that livery so so much.
