His first as a Flame was just a wrist shot from the the point/top of the circle..no?
...I guess that's the point.

Finally saw the goal as I missed the first. Definitely great to see a high skill finish from Huberdeau.
He has been really good in January.

4 games also isn't a comeback. He has been very bad for well over a year.

It was a laser of a snap shot that went bar down from the top of the circle.
…Also yes.

You can't ignore the strong underlying play for a month+ now.
Huberdeau is looking good. Let go of the past, and look at what's happening right now.

I'm not debating that it wasnt a nice goal, that was slick and super skillful.
But he's been here over a year, played something like 100 games...gotta still see more than this.

And all I’m saying is it has to start somewhere
He hasn’t been scoring pretty goals. But he’s a high skill player. They need some sexy tucks for their own sake.

Someone has got to remind Huberdeau what the score is before they let him go on TV in the intermission for an interview.

Head caved in today. Looked ####ing horrible. What an embarrassing player and contract to have on the team.

That’s you sixth post slamming Huberdeau in the last hour or so. Perhaps six more will clarify how you feel even more

Watching him play hockey is as annoying for me as my posting about it is for you.
For perspective.

Haha. Point taken. I'll relent. I don't know why I let him frustrate me so much.

He was fine today. Scored a pretty goal and mixed it up.
In general I’m very underwhelmed but we should give him credit when he has a decent game.

I have been hard on Huberdeau, but there is literally nothing to complain about for the last few games. He has been solid nearly all the time, and sometimes even excellent. I love the passion he showed today as well. Slowly starting to look like the player that the Flames thought they were getting originally.

He does look like he's improving, theres no argument there.
I'm just reserving judgement until I see some consistency.

Same post as in the GT. At least you’re consistent.
