Because “I got 2% of the vote that time I ran for mayor” looks great on a resume.

Just got back from voting. Easy peasy and nice to get it out of the way early.

Remember folks, just say no to Farkas. (Unless you actually like him, I'm not gonna tell people how to vote. Just remember that any platform that is basically 'change for the sake of change' never goes well)

I'm looking at Gondek for Mayor and DJ Kelly in Ward 4.

Disappointed in Davison's campaign and think he should have just ran for re-election as a Councillor.

I am strongly for Gondek for mayor, although since the Ward 3 candidates round table, none of the candidates sounded horrible. It’s a tough choice for councillor. Gurbir was pretty well spoken and seems pretty competent.

I will be voting for Gondek and Bentley.

Gondek will be a fantastic representative for our city.

Farkas is not what Gondek is.

It's between him and Mian for me, I just wish there was some kind of polling data to make a decision on. I'm really afraid of a split vote in ward 3 that gives Trenholm the win. Why the hell can't we just have ranked choice voting?

The ol' mayor elect has been sentenced to 18 months in jail for 6 counts of contempt against court. Starting in January when he's legally allowed to return to Ontario.

Yes, this really bugs me for small elections like this. I have no idea where the support lands for my ward so I'm likely picking my second best option as I think they have the best chance of winning against people I don't want to win.

There is no good argument against ranked voting if your goal is to have a fair election.

If I had to guess, I think ward 5 is a two horse race between Sandhu and Dhaliwal.

Still deciding between the two of them.

Would be nice to see a poll to see where things are leaning, as that could push my vote one way or another.

Meh, my council has been meeting electronically since February 2020 so it’s easy.

Are any of your council members doing it from a prison cell, with Big Andy griefing them in the background?

Brad Field with a totally unbiased and properly executed poll that places him in second.

The deck keeps getting shuffled but Farks is always on top. It looks like it's really going to happen.

Brad's "pollsters" had to make it look believable.

I will say that Sandhu was outstanding in his role working for Chahal. Totally on the ball, would make a good Councillor, I think. I don't know anything about Dhaliwal.
