Another reason why I am so against our OC in Miami, he's old and stubborn and he's holding the Fins back in my opinion. ANd an explanation into Marshalls frustration with this offence.

Quote:
“Sometimes I would be calling out his routes because they told me I would have a chance to follow him around all game, play him one-on-one,” Finnegan said. “So I felt like I needed to be prepared and we would laugh sometimes because I would be calling his routes out based on the formations and the splits.”
An opponent shouldn’t be able to figure out what’s coming that easily, right?
“Yeah, yeah, you should,” Finnegan said.
No, you shouldn’t.
“OK, I know, but I watched every single game Miami has played this year and the formation doesn’t lie unless they’re trying to trick you,” said Finnegan, who had three pass deflections and an interception against the Dolphins. “The formations didn’t lie and he didn’t like that.”

I will never understand why Marshall wanted out of Denver, unless it had to do with the Darrent Williams situation. He had it so good.

Josh McDaniels. I'm a huge Broncos fan and the sooner we get rid of him the better.

Absolutely. To be honest I don't think he would win the award right now but if he can put up some good numbers in the remaining 7 games and the Eagles make the playoffs, he has a good shot.

Stats wise I think Phillip Rivers would win and if SD can make the playoffs then I would vote for him. He is on pace to break Marino's passing yard record.

With receivers who would have a hard time starting on any team in the league...

Washington has an out clause with McNabb. After this season is over, they can choose to cut him lose and not owe him the money in that deal he just signed. So virtually they have 7 more games to decide if they want to keep him for the next 5 years.

I would tend to agree. I don't think Mcdaniels is ready yet. I am not sure because I don't know him but he comes off as arrogant to me.

But then his "guaranteed' money is also incentived as well so basically year to year they can cut him for nothing.

Dolphins will start there 15th QB tonight in Tyler Thigpen since Dan Marino left in the year 2000. That's an average of 1.5 qbs a year. Not a good stat.

Should be a pretty good game. Pretty much a must win game for the Dolphins (no they wouldn't be eliminated or anything, but at 5-5 and only having 1 division win compared to 3 and 2 for the 2 teams ahead of them plus the fact they could be 3 wins behind both of them after this weekend, and that makes it virtually a game they need to win).

Kind of what I expected, not much from a depleted dolphins team which is getting more depleted looks like Marshall could be out wiht a hamstring injury, questionable return. the backup center is also hurt, the left gaurd is now taking the snaps.

I thought the Fins might use the wildcat more tonight or at least some trick plays to help Thigpen but nothing. Considering how poorly they played offensively, they are still right in the game.

Ya bears!

I'm loving that the Bears are quietly moving along and commanding no respect. The remaining games are a huge test, but with this teams defense I think it can carry them to a wildcard spot and from there a good defense can make anyone a contender

Ugh. I knew I should've dumped Dan Carpenter this week. I also picked the Fins to score the least amount of points in both my pools this week.
