Jets are obviously done with Wilson, but have they seen enough from Mike White to not go after Garoppolo or someone else? Great defense, they just need competent QB play and they'll be a playoff team next year.

Competency costs. And as we saw with Jimmy on the 49ers give him an elite D and a strong running game and you can be pretty damn good. His injury concerns could bring his price down though. Just not sure White has shown enough to commit to him when you can win now with a decent QB.

I mentioned Huntley last season and how I was hoping that the Steelers might take a look but the Ravens signed him. If I was in the Jets organization I would be very interested in Huntley this offseason.

If there's a darkhorse for Lamar it might be the Panthers. They've played themselves out of a QB in the draft and Tepper is desperate for a top QB. Can't see too many teams willing to pay the draft capital it would cost to get Lamar, in addition to the apparent fully guaranteed contract he wants. Panthers would be someone desperate enough I think. Jets can get Jimmy for no draft capital and far lower guaranteed money.

I remember when the Jets were in the drivers seat for the 1st overall pick and then went all Jets and won a game or two and got the second pick, Lawrence is the real deal, Wilson is certainly not. what a sad organization
