Oh, and thanks to the Cardinals for bringing the Niners down today.
Saints are gunning for that #2 seed!
Ya a couple weeks ago it seemed the Niners had it all but locked up, and now suddenly the Saints have a legit shot at it. That Niners/Steelers game next weekend is a huge game.
Hopefully Big Ben is healthy enough to be effective. I know there was talk about a suspension for Harrison, as well. I think Seattle will give them a bit of a run in 2 weeks.
Twenty-four games have been decided by 27 or more points this year, and the Chiefs have lost five of them. One more — remember, the undefeated Packers come to Arrowhead next week — and the Chiefs will tie the 1984 Bills for the most blowout losses since the merger.
The Chiefs have scored 45 points in their last six games, and are averaging 263 yards in their last five. With the help of The Big Lead, an examination of Pro Football Reference’s database shows that’s the third-worst six-game scoring stretch since 2002.
Yeah Dirty Sanchez is something special... just ask Ryan..... Sanchise? are you kidding me, wait til he plays a good team, then he will fail yet again.
Yeah when he plays those good teams in the playoffs he's terrible.
It's against the book to fire a coach in season, but really, if the players aren't responding, why delay it for the end of the season.
Too much chaos with the offence and him around. Same HC, and it's the third different offence in three seasons. Obviously he was driving Charlie Weiss nuts that he took a job in Florida to be closer to family, only to take a job in Kansas a year later. Too bad because Weiss did something with the offence last year. Jim Zorn should probably be told to stay home too...that guy is like Kryptonite to any NFL offence he's around as a coach.
I don't know who'll they'll hire on, but I hope like hell they stay away from Josh McDaniels, who's been rumored to be a potential hire. I would just like to see someone who can bring some form of stability to the offence and not meddle with it.
Look no further than Brian Schottenheimer. It's in his blood. Please take him.
If Kirk Ferentz is willing to leave Iowa City he will be the next Chiefs head coach. That's a big if though.

I'll take a pass on that one thanks. You defend anything Jets but desperately want to rid yourself of Young Brian. That's all I need to know. Although he'd probably be a better DC than Juan Castillo given his blood lines.

Thanked for ripping Juan Castillo.

Yeah you are right, "HE" beat Manning and Brady. "HE" is the reason they won...
No single player wins games single handedly, but his qb rating jumps dramatically in the postseason. He is no Brady or Rodgers or even Schaub, but to say he does worse against good teams when his playoff stats are better than his regular season's is incorrect. But why let facts get in the way am I right?

If the Jets had an established QB I would have no problems with Brian, but here we are 3 years later and we still have an unknown quantity in Sanchez. Brian's playcalling hasn't let Sanchez shine or fail. The times where he opens up the playbook has been the postseason and it seems Sanchez does above average in those situations, but he has one bad game in the regular season and Schotty turns back to screens and draws. His playcalling is way too safe and maybe he knows that Sanchez doesn't have what it takes, but I don't think we can know unless he lets Sanchez fail.
