I think a major issue with Young is that it is his team that has won those games despite of him moreso than him winning games.
This year he has been slightly better but even in the game winning drive there was a lot more luck and bad plays by Young than anything.

Highly doubtful Dis...that night has the Giants home to the Eagles scheduled already....thats always a MASSIVE number for the networks, so i doubt NBD would give that up...especially because it will still have playoff implications for one if not both teams.

I'm surprised Young was even in the situation where he had to have that drive today simply because Matt Leinart played on the other sideline. Leinart probably deserves some credit for not imploding in what had to be a very tough situation for the Cards today. They put up a fight.

Might have to go to a bar. It's been a while, and it is usually not an enjoyable experience as I'm watching the Broncs on some tiny screen with no sound while the rest of the crowd is cheering on the Chiefs.
Sucks.

7-7 in the 2nd quarter. Dixon just threw a TD to Holmes.

Unless the Ravens figure out how to stop the run they won't win this game. Pittsburgh's defense is outplaying the Ravens defense.

Hard to believe that the Ravens are getting beat by a 1st time starter...I guess that Baltimore D really is getting old and its starting to show.

So is the Pitt D.
But the biggest issue with the Steel Curtain is they miss Polomolu. I can't recall a defensive player who made a bigger difference to an entire unit. Yeah, there have been many better players, but the difference with Polomolu vs without Polomolu is just staggering. So much of their scheme rests on his shoulders.

Yup...troy from troy is the single most important defensive player to his team in the entire NFL...no question about it in my mind.

Polamalu is an amazing player. His natural football instincts are incredible.
Dixon runs one in. The Steelers are going to win this game. The AFC wildcard teams both have 2 game leads if that turns out to be the case. Incredible.

I didn't like when Young ran off on his own to celebrate. Look at me, look at me. Just like when he won the BCS. What an ego.

Ravens win in OT and are 6-5 along with Pittsburgh/Jacksonville for that last wildcard spot.

If the playoffs ended today in the AFC (win or lose tomorrow NE wouldn't move up or down):
#1 - Indianapolis - bye
#2 - Cincinnati - bye
#3 - San Diego
#4 - New England
#5 - Denver
#6 - Jacksonville
AFC Wildcard Weekend
Jacksonville @ San Diego
Denver @ New England
If the playoffs ended today, this is how the NFC would look (New Orleans plays tomorrow and with a loss would be 10-1 along with the Vikings) but as of now:
#1 - New Orleans - bye
#2 - Minnesota - bye
#3 - Dallas
#4 - Arizona
#5 - Philadelphia
#6 - Green Bay
NFC Wildcard Weekend:
Green Bay @ Dallas
Philadelphia @ Arizona

I think 11 of those teams will make the playoffs.
I think the winner of the Ravens/Steelers game in Pittsburgh takes Jacksonville's spot.

NFC wildcard teams/chasers and their games this weekend...
Dallas travels to the Giants
Philadelphia travels to Atlanta
Green Bay hosts Baltimore on Monday night
NY Giants hosts the Cowboys
Atlanta Falcons hosts the Eagles
AFC teams....
San Diego goes to hapless Cleveland
Denver goes to Kansas city
Pittsburgh at home against the Raiders
Baltimore to Green bay Monday night
Jacksonville host the reeling Texans
Looks to me like it could be even more convolted in the NFC after next week, particularly if Atl beats the Eagles and the Giants get of the schnide.
That GB/Raven game could be the season for either one as well...
Love this time of year.

Glad I wasn't the only one who felt this way.
Go celebrate with the team, and the rookie who made one HELL of a catch.
But at least this week will be all about Vince Young, so hopefully I don't hear anything about Favre.

Thats funny how you don't include the 5-6 teams in the AFC East, all these teams are very much alive. Yah they have flaws but at the moment those teams are only one game back of a wildcard based on the results of this week-end.
