Dominguez pitched an inning on Sunday but not yesterday, and had 2 days of rest prior to that, so he should be good to go for game 2 of the doubleheader if needed. I mean hopefully Lauer goes long (and then they can use Rodriguez/Hoffman to lock down the win) but he should be available today/tomorrow.

Domínguez has a year left on his contract so you’ve got a bit of team control. Watts-Brown was looking decent but he isn’t a guy that you bank on as a near term major league contributor.

Dominguez replaces Yimi Gacia for now, and if/when Garcia comes back then the bullpen gets even deeper. Also if Sandlin can get healthy it gives the bullpen another look. I would still like to see another leverage reliever preferably a closer, and another depth arm preferably a lefty.

Danny Coulombe from the Twins checks a lot of boxes, a lefty who can pitch in leverage situations.

Yeah. I think its important to avoid going on a big losing streak. If they play 500 baseball starting from right now they end up with 90 wins, which is definitely a playoff spot and might even still win the division.

Idk what is up with the O’s, but they shouldn’t be in the basement. They have a solid squad when they’ve got momentum such as the last two games. Very hot and cold team.

They have the worst SP ERA in the AL at 5.09. Their defense is awful as well.
