Been party to a dozen elections in Arizona. Ballots are processed as they come in. Arizona is a state where you can check to see when your ballot is registered and counted and they turn things around quickly. They would be added at the precinct where they are dropped off and then counted at the same time. So to have some stuff coming in right now is a little "different." The optics are strange to say the least, especially given how elections run in Arizona.

Chris Christie on ABC just commented that he's hearing from Republican operatives that their focus now is on "changing the conversation" in Arizona, which they see as key to Trump winning. The Governor, Ducey, is apparently part of that effort.

I have no respect for Christie whatsoever, but have no doubt he still has good sources and an understanding of how the Republicans operate.

Arizona is very possibly where the outright cheating by Republicans is set to begin.

Sure, if every ballot is from Fulton County, which they are very unlikely not to be. Looking at the sample from across the state and what is supposedly missing it doesn't look like he's going to have enough votes there to catch up.

If Biden win Georgia by less than 1.2%, Jo Jorgensen is going to look like a big time spoiler.

I appreciate your optimism, hopefully we get some good news tonight. Or maybe I need to pour a rum and calm the nerves a bit.

They're just following Prezzie's orders.

Yes, please. Stop counting in AZ right now.

Might as well stop in Nevada too. Right Donny?

PA lead now down to 170,040, per AP.

... Please?

How does that track against the pace Biden needs to be on?

Getting more and more concerned about Arizona. Hopefully this isn’t the case but CNN has been hesitant all day about making the call. Got to believe it’s definitely still in play for Trump.

I honestly don't know. It seems to be shrinking at a rate that would bode well but I have no idea if it'll keep up that way, given the concerns I posted earlier. For example, Trump's lead in Georgia is still shrinking, but the shrinking has slowed a lot in the last 2 hours and it now looks to me like it's just not going to end up getting back to even. So the question is if something similar happens in PA.

I'm pretty worried. If PA doesn't go Biden's way, the Nates should have to close their twitter accounts and resign from their jobs, because that would be an egregious miss.

Apparently there is around 750,000 ballots still to be counted. It looking good for Joe. Imo.

So all the polling pundits I'm following are saying PA is looking very good for Biden (estimated 200k margin of victory when all is said and done), but people in this thread are saying it may not be so hot. Who do I believe?

Just me or Arizona, Georgia and Penn have all been basically paused for a while it feels like? Count seems to have almost stopped.

IMO, believe them, but don't get emotionally invested. They're experts, we're not, but the experts have been wrong kind of a lot on this stuff so... I am playing the role of a grain of salt.
