Exposing promising Stockton players to this tire fire may not be a great idea. Prospect after prospect in last 2 years gets called up and shows very little. That is something Flames need to examine.
Maybe they should be calling up about three players at a time? There are several players on this team that I have no issue with sending down and/or exposing to waivers.

Calling up hard working plugs from the AHL doesn't seem to do anything ,well duh! How about giving some of the skill guys a shot for say 8 - 10 games.... Janko, Mangy, Prybl etc
well they did call up Shinkaruk. He's hardly a plug. The three players you named are all pretty green to pro hockey (North American in Prybil's case), likely to soon to mix things up again by sending them to the show.
Shinkaruk was a logical choice, Hathaway for Bouma is as well.
If Shinkaruk doesn't produce though they have the option of flipping him for another option - I thought he had his best game on Saturday night.
I wouldn't be shocked if the Flames wanted Klimchuk, Mangiapane, Pribyl, Jankowski...all the young guys to maintain their successful routines and not disrupt them for a short-term call-up.
I also think there is something to allow a player to continue to build confidence at a lower level. This is the first pro season for Janko, let him settle into what being a pro means, and build that critical confidence.

Additionally, keeping the young guys away from the big club while the dumpster fire continues to burn is likely best for their development in the long run.

Not to mention that Jankowski and Klimchuk (and others- Mangiapane) have not played full seasons in their current roles in the AHL...Let them ripen!

Do you think Politics could be keeping Jankowski away from the Flames line up?
After all this is Feaster's pick & so far, it seems that Feaster's team has been the most successful Flames team as opposed to Trelivings 'Team'.

Christ no.
Literally everyone in the organization is best served by trying to ice the team that gives them the best chance of winning. Everyone.
Plus if this had any ounce of truth (which it doesn't) he should have just not signed him and taken the 2nd.
Absurd suggestion.

I don't think it would be politics as much as the Flames having too many centres. Someone would need to go to the wing.
