I have to agree about Aioli. At first I was all over it as a dip for fries, with veggies, in a sandwich or burger but now for whatever reason I lost the taste for it and don't like it at all.

I'm still missing one of my Columbia House CDs I ordered back in 1993, and I'm certain it's delayed because of the ongoing strike.

In all seriousness though, them moving to rotating strikes makes it a little more palatable. I've been having to put off updating my driver's license et. al. with my new address -- we just moved -- because there would be no way to receive the new permanent card.

Here is why this is a gear grinder. A big insurance company incorrectly paid us for a patient that was not covered. So we have to cut a cheque to them and mail that Cheque to a PO Box. If they do not receive it in time then the patient gets billed for the amount AND loses their eye coverage benefits. Essentially, it is our responsibility to get the $$ to the insurance company to ensure the patient still has their coverage (Even though it was an insurance company error.) They have no alternative to a Cheque to a PO box. Other insurance companies just take the money off the next monthly statement and send us an email.

Another example is a patient in Lethbridge purchased glasses through us. It was $17 to ship them those glasses using Canada Post with tracking. It was $44 through Purolator.

Hmmm, I don’t know if that’s true. I noticed because I had less crap to empty out of my mailbox into the recycling bin. I wouldn’t say I REALLY noticed. I just… kind of noticed… like, “Huh, I could get used to this” and then I forget about it for a week or so.

Put me somewhere between not noticing and really noticing.

I’m happy to see that you learned from the first time.

And I mean not relying on a company that’s having labour issues and expecting no issues, not the opting to not pick another 12 free CDs only to pay double the price on 9 more just to get that one CD you didn’t receive.

I'd be fine if all couriers f'ed off, nothing but crap service and packages being stolen off doorsteps. Half the time they try to deliver while you're at work and you need to call to avoid driving up the the damn airport. I wish Canada Post would have adapted.

But yeah, people in small towns and people way up north depend on Canada Post.

Check with the registry. We had to do something with our marriage certificate during the previous postal stoppage. They gave us the option of courier for an extra cost, or we could come into the registry in a few days to pick it up.

I renewed my license during the last strike, they just extended the period for how long until the paper temporary license expired, and they don't take your old cards anymore

Giant tacos because it’s packed with cabbage. Like we are fataing stupid. Let’s pack this taco with the shredded paper that virtually zero cost. I wish I were a baby Bumble bee.
We love the cabbage-stuffed Costco tacos. I don’t think I would.
