One more bedtime story daddy?
I don't know if any other radio ad has caused me to switch stations more than this one, even Spence. And I will never ever use State Farm.
The new coke one with the big brother is beyond stupid but I guess it's better than ####ing polar bears

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.
Sportsnet's NHL Awards commercials are utterly cringe worthy.
I was only half paying attention to the first, but I am pretty sure it had the "manager" of the awards show kidnapping the daughter of one of the executives to encourage them to come up with better ideas for the show. (God is that ever ironic).
The second featured the Stanley Cup being brought into the board room, and a guy inexplicably wearing a Maple Leafs sweater immediately begins to sexually molest it.

You many not know - the guy is Will Arnett (comedian, Arrested Development), and he is hosting the NHL awards. He is Canadian and likely a Leafs fan.
The Hyundai commercial with the idiot mom driving the red SUV. Really reassuring that we're building vehicles to mitigate stupidity, rather than teaching people to drive. She can't stay on the road, so the car beeps at her, and then, in a residential area, she's too busy looking in her rearview admiring her own kids to notice she's about to run over another kid. Yay for the car stopping for her. Jesus christ.

The worst part of that commercial is that when she is looking at her kids and the SUV starts to brake she quickly looks forward but immediately turns around again to look at her kids instead of attempting to do some sort of emergency correction. She is a clueless and terrible driver.
What I find funny is how they all ape each other's advancements and then pretend like it's some amazing new technology just from them. That Hyundai ad is touting tech that's been in cars for years now as some sort of amazing new thing. Our base-level 2008 Volvo has blind spot monitoring for gods sake.
Car commercials these days are just the worst. All they talk about is anti-stupid gadgets. Nothing about how the car drives or performs, just what type of tech it has that can further take you from being involved in the actual act of driving. I guess that's what happens when you suck out all the fun from a car.

^ They also always seem to include Bruno Mars music.

The Governments climate change plan propoga errr commercials, I can't even stand hearing them anymore.
I'm waiting for someone to make a parody of it.
Something like " Albertan's , are you ready to pay out the ass for something you need everyday? Introducing the new Alberta luddite plan."
The Canadian Tire commercial with the kids in the back of the van singing. I know, lets have the two worst parents in the world drive that van and be completely powerless to shush their kids. And then be happy that the oil pressure light comes on so they can get out of that van and hang out in the CT garage so they can get away from those kids.
If you use the rogers radio app on your smartphone, it always starts with a 15-30 second ad before it begins streaming, and the same ad runs for several months before being replaced.
Right now, they're running a Rhett Warrener Audi commercial. It's really bad. It's somehow more embarrassing than anything from the Roast.

It worked for Apple. Unsurprising that copycats followed.
The difference is that while Apple tends not to make new things, they almost always tend to make existing things better. That's always been the reason for their success.
