So, the Mnister for red tape reduction will get the governments grubby little red taping fingers all over the price of vodka. For the benefit of the industry...sure. Has no impact on the tax revenue of course.

AGLC still has a legal monopoly on wholesale liquor in Alberta. All liquor stores have to buy from government warehouses. The government's grubby little fingers have been all over the business all along.
I'm sure the minister is wondering how the hell that retail store manages to sell vodka for so much less than the wholesale price.

Why are we wasting everyone's time with months of travel? Bettman should just hand the Oilers the cup on April 20th then if it's that much of a lock and save all this four round playoff trouble.
Sorry, are the oilers first in the NHL right now Staples? No? Are they even currently first in their division? No?
This is Edmonton journalism at its finest. "We are the best, no matter what the standings say". Every year this happens.
He can't even give credit to teams that are better than the Connor McDavids. So when the oilers get knocked out of the playoffs, he is going to claim they beat themselves, built in excuse already. Clown.
You can't have the annual embarrassing oilers failure without the preceding hype articles from the usual suspects, complete with unusual formatting, desktop snapshots, and a quote tailor made for the next E=NG thread.
Lets recap the teams that the Unbeatable Oilers were beaten by this year.
Vancouver, Philadelphia, Winnipeg, Minnesota, New York, Dallas, Nashville, San Jose, Tampa Bay, Florida, Carolina, New York Islanders, Vegas, LA, St. Louis, Boston, Calgary, Columbus, Buffalo, Colorado, Toronto, and Ottawa.
Are they going through these teams in the playoffs?:
Anaheim, Arizona, Chicago, Detroit, New Jersey, Seattle, Pittsburgh, Washington, or Montreal.
