Interesting, I wonder how they're determining we're still more likely to finish 5th. Islanders have easier remaining games and a game in hand. Is that the lottery skewing it?

embarassing choke by Kingston. Led the series 3-0. Ritchie with the OT winner in game 7.

Bennett finished with 9 points in 7 games (5 goals), Ritchie with 8 points (5 goals). Bennett had 18 PIMs, Ritchie 14.

He definitely fills an organizational need.
Flames have a ton of prospects that can play the left side wing, and there will be guys that can slide over, or that are better on the wing than at center.
But on defense we are truly lacking a top four defenseman that can play in all situations that has good size and mobility.

That is how my top six is right now.

I think it depends where Edmonton finish. If they end up picking 3rd...... I think they are feeling the pressure to draft for size or make a trade for immediate help.

Yes it is the lottery. The Flames are much more likely to finish 4th last than the Islanders, but with the significant chance that they get bumped down to 5th after the lottery.

Can Bennett compete in the under 18s I'd he's suspended? Isn't he still suspended?

Sorry, just remembered a new clip here that's said he was suspended indefinitely for a wicked slash or some such thing. Totally cool if it was misinformation. Just posted the question because I remembered that. Because I thought his draft stock would drop I'd he wasn't playing or producing.

Yeah, odds without the lottery seem to be 68% we'll finish with the 4th pick. 29% chance we'll finish with the 5th pick.

He got 5 games. The OHL lists suspensions as indefinite while they review it for the length.

TBL, FLA, NJD, LAK, WPG, VAN

Isles games remaining:

OTT, WAS, CBJ, OTT, MTL, NJD, BUF

Personally I think the Flames beat Florida, Winnipeg, and Jersey, and earn a point against the Nuckleheads. NYI I could see losing all these games except for Buffalo. Maybe they pick up a point or two in one of those Sens games.

Realistically we'll probably be picking 5th overall unless someone jumps ahead of us at the lottery.

Seriously doubt the Isles only manage beat Buffalo. They're on a decent run.

We could easily lose to New Jersey and/or Winnipeg too if we play anything like tonight.

Washington is slumping hard too. Going to be a tight race but I think the Flames are beat from all the hard work and effort.
