It’s a mystery at this point that only Montoyo can answer. Stripling was at 65 pitches and just K’d a guy with the 8-9 hitters coming up. May as well pull him and tax the bullpen even more in a double header with no off days for the rest of the season. Then Cole comes in and gives up a single, wild pitch, HR. The Bullpens ERA isn’t even in the top 20 anymore after being top 5 2 weeks ago. It’s clear they’re overworked and continually being put in spots where they’re going to fail.

Sac fly, we'll take it. 6-5 Jays. Still time for more this inning.

That pitch that hit Guerrero scared the #### out of me. That could have been really, really nasty.

Without the face guard addition to the helmet, Vlad's on his way to the emergency room right now.

Finally caught up - that was the nastiest sound when that hit Vladdy. I thought his jaw would be shattered. Very scary.

The Phillies bullpen is as bad as the Jays bullpen lately!

They should just let Biggio call his own balls and strikes
He’s got a better eye than the umps

Especially for a pitcher who hadn’t shown that he could throw strikes.
7 runs probably isn’t enough eh?

With Borucki throwing like that might actually be enough! Wait Borucki was pitching too well, Montoyo had to pull him.

Ha. Yep. Saw that coming a mile away. 2 more against the Phillies and then 4 against the Yanks. This Streak could be real ugly.
