Jeez how can you stop Rajan Rondo (or Ray Allen in the 1st half for that matter). But really Rondo just did everything (blocks, steals, driving to the hoop, pull up shots) in the last couple minutes. Hopefully the Lakers can bounce back in Boston!

I officially like Rondo more than KG, another triple double in the playoffs. Allen was huge tonight as well and set a new record in the process.
It's probably just me, but does anyone else get annoyed with Nicholson during Laker home games? He acts like a coach with all the jumping around on the sidelines, not to mention whining to the refs.

Very entertaining game tonight, but I thought the reffing was brutal both ways - mostly in LA's favour early, and Boston's favour late. Rondo could very easily emerge as MVP if Boston goes on to win this.
I'm also starting to think, no way that LA trades Bynum, even for Bosh. His upside is just fantastic, and without him there's no way that LA owns the paint the way they did tonight.

I can get annoyed with JN too but I'll take his passion for the game and loyalty to the Lakers over half of the celebrity bags that barely even watch the game @ there lower bowl seats.

2-3-2 is a tough game setup for the road team. Celtics could win 2/3 at home then win 1/2 but it might be easier for them to win 3 straight on the road then one more in LA.

Ahhhhh so refreshing watching a game in Boston then Staples. Fans are loud from the pre-game on, such a nice difference from Staples.

I hate Gasol and his flopping ways, guy is a joke for a big man.
Ray Allen really blew it tonight.

That was a disgusting flop by Gasol. Can't stand him. No work ethic tonight that defined the 08 team. Good news is, KG had his best game of the series. If he wants to, just like every other tough big in the league, he can own Gasol.

Fisher comes up huge in the 4th Q and the Lakers pick up the win. Allen was atrocious for the Celtics but good news for the Lakers is Fisher was really the only starter who had a very good game.

Man Gasol sure did go down easy on that last call there. Hate the guy, but Fisher was clutch last night... some of those left hand floaters were unreal.
It's going to be hard for Boston to pull this series out IMO. That said, hopefully the Celtics get a little more Jesus Shuttlesworth and a little less Ray Allen from here on out.

I'm attempting to watch this.
It's a ugly first quarter.

Celtics win, series tied 2-2. Big Baby, Robinson and the bench won it for the Celtics.

Man was that an ugly shooting performance by both teams...except for Kobe from downtown.

From what I heard Big Baby was awesome on Game 4. I am not so sure why Doc Rivers is not using him much because Lamar Odoms is no match against him and I am not sure why Phil Jackson is not using Bynum against him much.
I didn't see Game 4 but I've been watching the series so far. From what I've seen so far, Kobe can win or lose the game. He's a ball hog and most of the time he force his shots. Odoms is brutal against Big Baby and aside from Game 3 Fisher has been brutal guarding Rondo as well. The Big Three for Boston are hot and cold. Ray Allen was awesome in Game 2 but very cold in Game 3. Garnett and Pierce hasn't been playing well. For LA, I like Bynum and it seems that Artest is playing well guarding Pierce. Gasol is doing better KG and he could be a force on offense too if Kobe gives him the ball once in awhile. Best of 3 and the series is getting interesting. Both teams needs to be consistent in order to win.

It's interesting how much it's like the Phoenix series, where the other team's big players can have one great game here and there, but can't put it together for a whole series. LA's weakness seems to be the other team's bench players coming in and holding momentum for large stretches late in games. And there's a similar style in both Robinson and Dragic. Next game is an absolute must-win for Boston, and they need more than one of Allen, Pierce, and Garnett to play well.

Hopefully Bynum will have more of an impact next game. He just had his knee drained and is apparently feeling much better.

I have to say it is the other way around. It is must-win for the Lakers. If they lose Game 5, I think Game 4 bench dominations by the Celtics will hunt the Lakers. It will also force Kobe to try to win the game by himself. Kobe Bryant is an excellent player but I cannot stand the way he force his shot a lot instead of passing the ball to an open player like Gasol, Bynum, or whoever. Lamar Odom needs to play better defense and Fisher had to stop Rondo or Nate Robinson. Robinson and Rondo's speed is tough for the Lakers to stop. I still think the Lakers will win the series but if the Celtics win Game 5, I have some doubts.

The 2-3-2 format screws the home team IMO. Not using that as an excuse for the Lakers sucking cause they're really not playing championship basketball right now, but I still feel that way.
