Who was calling a penalty when a weak little wrister from the blue line went right by his left pad?

This year Kipper has better SV% and GAA numbers than Luongo. That is the criteria this year. Wins are not as important this year, as Kipper has suffered from a poor team in front of him. Again it is Luongo's bad luck that he has not played at a consistently high level in the stats that matter this year, GAA and SV%. Please pay attention to what stats and logic matter and how they correlate with the calendar.

I'm usually a pretty tolerant guy when it comes to hockey talking heads, but man do I ever hate Ferraro, Pang, and Kypreos. I dont' know who's bone they had to smoke to get their gigs. They're awful to listen to and are as dumb as rocks.

Yeah it was a bad goal. But he's the whole reason they were even in that position.
And like I said, who was the goalie that let in 4 goals in 25 minutes against the Sharks in a game 7?

He made 56 out of 58 saves in that game.

How many shots did the US get their 6 goals on? I see now they have 18 shots.

Jeeezus..This argument is going in circles. I'll save you all the time. Kipper and Luongo are both great goalies. Kipper plays for the Flames, therefore we all like him better. Brodeur is actually the best goalie of all time.
7uongo is still funny and will always be funny.

CTV showed the shots on goal just after the 6-0 goal, and it said 11-3.

Same here. Just really upset with how Kypreos just tossed Kipper under the bus and said he deserved it.
So upset, I got my first infraction! This calls for a celebration! I think I'll grab a beer and a cigar and head for center ice!

Not from what I've seen in this tournament. They were horrible against the Swedes, and Kipper was the only reason they lost by only 3 goals.
I didn't watch the Czech game, but from what I did see and read, they weren't that great in it either, and if not for Kipper, they probably don't win it.
They've only scored one goal (on a goalie) in their last 2 games going into this one, and it probably doesn't get scored if the Czech defenceman doesn't have to go retrieve his helmet from behind the net.
When Kipper is bad, he is really bad. But, he also bounces back well. If he doesn't play in the Bronze game, I expect a great performance from him on Wednesday against Backstrom and the Wild.

Don't be surprised if we find out Kipper is sick. There is a devastating flu making the rounds out here. My brother was so sick he dropped like a rock when he got out of bed too fast. I am coming down with it now and it clouds your mind to the point you drop 20 IQ points and makes you so dizzy you can barely stand up. I heard it was going through some of the teams, so I hope we are OK.

And? How did the 58th shot look? Would you expect a goaltender to make that save 100 out of a 100 times? I personally would!
Sure he was spectacular up until that point but HE blew it.

Holy... what a troll war.
Kipper had a poor game by his standards (still a decent game for most NHL goaltenders, don't kid yourself). Let in a really bad first goal at which point the team completely collapsed and all the rest were free gifts for the admittedly hard working Americans.
7uongo is a joke between rival teams, only the most thick headed Flames fans can't see that Luo isn't one of the worlds best goalies, just as Kipper is for the Flames. That doesn't mean Flames fans won't take pot shots at Luo every chance we get, him having a few poor showings in very important games is a great chance at those jokes. Neither goalie can be considered "bad" by any standards, if you think otherwise I suggest you watch hockey rather than reading about it on a message board. Goalies are only human, I think some people forget that at times.
Kipper and Luo have been and continue to be some of the best goalies in the NHL, "off" years for those two are what most NHL goalies dream of, forget about it when they are playing well. It amazes me that people can still argue about it and try to put them down (the ones not just having fun with a few jokes) and mean it.
Anyways Finland folded like a cheap suit after the first blunder by Kipper, hard to blame him for the others with NO team support to speak of.
/end rant
Oh and Ferraro is a tool. **** you Ferarro.

Well I just watched the 4 goals on Kiprusoff and two of them were very bad (1st and 4th) one wasn't great (3rd) and the other was impossible to stop. They should have pulled him after the 3rd goal... he wasn't even moving like he usually does. Two of the goals he was sitting on his butt trying to push around with his hands.
I love Kipper and think he's a fantastic goalie, but he let his team down worse than Brodeur did to Canada. At least Brodeur made a few big saves to compensate for the weak ones... very disappointing performance by Kipper. He better win a Stanley Cup because I don't think he'll be playing for Finland again any time soon...

Patrick Kane's second intermission comments "Well we scored 6 in the first and none in the second so we need to pick it up a bit in the third". What a fricken ######. From his ######ed mouth guard antics to his 20 cent incident, he is one of the biggest ######s I have ever known in hockey. I wish I could meet him in a back alley one day because I know I could kick that scronny punk kid's ass. I can't wait for him to get destroyed by team Canada on Sunday.
Sorry for the randomness but I just can't stand that punk.
