JT loves Russell though! He winks and laughs every time he votes someone out!

I also think coach will vote for Russell. He's too dumb to be vindictive!

Man alive I'm loving this season. I would think Russell has painted himself into an impossible corner here. Him and Parvati are pretty much the leaders now, and if he goes with the hero's that leaves Parvati to go with Sandra and Jerri. I would much rather be in Parvati's position, but that being said her group will have a harder time winning immunity. With it being 3 on 3 (at least that's how it looks), the final few episodes should be legendary.

I can only hope that Sandra is the next to go. I can't think of anyone less deserving to still be in the game this far in.

Got the same feeling.

I think Russell and Parv get alliance back in gear with someone else. I also have a sinking feeling that it will be Sandra - who will prob use her idol to reel in the other two.....

If it ends up being Colby, Rupert and Russell next week I can't see any reason to think why Jerri would vote against Russell after throwing all her eggs, yet again, in his basket by voting out Danielle.

I think Parvarti is done, I can't see Sandra giving up her idol to try a bold move like we have seen prior to this. See the influence these hidden immunity idols have on the game? There wasn't even one played at the last tribal council and it still influenced who went home.

They need to get a grip on them, a tighter grip.

Personally just thinking things through, if I was Russell, I'd want Pavarti in the final three with me, probably because his ego wants to beat her, and Colby who while likable has done nothing in this game. Plus the hero's in the jury will remember Colby as the guy who wanted to quit a short time ago, but was kept in the game.

But I don't think the final three is going to work that way. I'm guessing as Russell how this is going to play out.

Next week Russell fakes an alliance with Colby and Rupert, they make noise to Jerry that they're going to vote Sandra and she should to. this forces Sandra to play her idol, but Russell votes with Sandra and Pavarti to get Rupert, the most Jury friendly guy out of the game.

The week after, Russell promises Sandra and Pavarti a spot in the final three. They both want Russell in front of the jury, they don't want Colby there, because there's a risk that his non offensive game plan gets him the win. The dark alliance bounces Colby.

Its Jerry's time to go, they don't want her in front of the Jury because compared to Sandra, Pavarti and Russell, she's been a far different Jerry then she was the last time around, and people might vote for her just becuause she hung with a strong villians team and survived. Its also less then likely that Jerry will win an immunity challenge as oppossed to Rupert and Colby.

Russell, Pavarti and Sandra in front of the jury, non of them likable, so they're all on even ground in terms of votes. This is probably the closest thing to a best jury for Russell thinking about it.

Russell, Parvati, Sandra also has the Russell vs. two previous winners angle going for him. Would that affect the jury? Does anyone realize that he's a millionaire?

I see Sandra in the final 2, she has that hidden immunity that will probably be used once Colby and Rupert are gone.

6. Colby/Rupert
5. Colby/Rupert
4. Pavarti/Jerri
3. Russell
2. Pavarti/Jerri
1. Sandra wins.

That's how I see the final playing out.

Russell is hated among other players, Pavarti seems to be disliked by many so logically Sandra is really the only one that will get the votes from Colby, Rupert, JT, Amanda and Courtney.

Hidden immunity idol has to be played before the 5th member is voted out I believe.

So that will still leave Sandra vulnerable at one tribal council granted she doesn't win immunity, which I doubt she will.

IMO, that's what has made this season so exciting is the creative way the hidden immunity idol has been played. It's making for a pretty exciting season. Most of the time you just have to pray you win the immunity challenge and if you don't 90% of the time anyone can guess who is going home.

I agree they have made it interesting, and I like that, but having them rain from the sky really messes with the whole strategic area of the game.

Part of this game is forming strong alliances and placing trust in people, but having 10 immunity idols played a game is really messing with the dynamic of it.

Obviously the producers agree with me if they have already announced that next season the approach will be different to hidden immunity.

I honestly liked the idea of Exile Island having one.. that seemed to work out better than having them at camp.

Yeah, Sandra's going to get completely blindsided by Russell when she gets cocky and doesn't play her Idol.

I believe Russell is going to make her believe that he wants to screw over Rupert , but in the end he's not.

I say this is the week where Russel gets kicked out. As much I don't want it to happen, I see Russell realizing his allaince with the chicks is over and he will make an attempt to latch onto Colby and rupert, but in the vote, they will screw him over. Of course, should he win immunity, my prediction is thrown out the window and which case, I say Jerri gets the axe.

So if Sandra has an idol, and they have an individual immunity challenge, and they drop another hidden idol... does that mean three different people could have immunity tonite? Seems a little odd.

Either way, what happens if there is a tie in the voting tonite? I can't remember how that works.

I keep going back to the fact that these are all experience players, and no matter what most of them what Russell against them in the final three as oppossed to screwing them in the jury.

The only one thats stupid enough not to want Russell in the final three is Sandra.

to me there are two possibilities tonight.

Russell suspects that Rupert has the immunity idol, so he creates an alliance with the guys, and somehow convinces the girls to vote Rupert (who you don't want in the final three), because Rupert doesn't have the Idol to play, Russell swings his vote to the girls.

Russell pulls a blind side on Sandra by getting the guys to vote for her, and convincing Parvati to swing her vote in exchange for a guarantee to the final three.

Russell plays the vote game way to well, and it doesn't matter if they want him gone, it makes no sense to put him on the jury.

They make a fire.

Isn't there already a fire? Actually several? I thought it goes by who ever has received the most votes in previous councils and I remember something about a re-vote but I haven't watched much survivor besides this season and another way earlier one.

I think some of the early seasons used previous votes. I agree with CaptainCrunch that the tie-breaker is a contest to see who can make a fire (needs to burn through a rope) the fastest. And as far as the immunity idols, I believe they would only put another one in play after Sandra uses this one. There is initially one per tribe and they get re-hidden once used, but I think once they get down to a merged tribe they leave it at only one in play.

I think the fire tie-breaker is out and the current tiebreaker is that anyone who did not get a vote in that tribal - draws rocks. The one who draws a certain rock goes home. It motivates someone changing their vote in the first tie-breaking re-vote so that they don't risk drawing rocks.
