I've said it before. I know he's Canadian but are you telling me they can't find a Canadian that can't get a 10 yard punt return once or twice a year?

All in all a good half for the Stamps and I dont think they are lucky its tied at all. They're playing a good game considering its in Regina. Some members on CP are just extremely hard to satisfy when it comes to their home team. It has to be perfect or its not good enough.

Stamps were screwed by the Refs early game and failed to capitalize when they needed to.

My guess - more stupid penalties by the Stamps, a couple turnovers, some bad D coverage, and a whack load of 2 and outs by the Stamps O.

You do realize the Riders have been garbage in the 3rd quarter all season, right? And how the Riders did absolutely nothing in the 2nd half of the game two weeks ago after dominating the 1st half?
Calgary has them right where they want them. Any intelligent Rider fan should agree that a tie game at half is not what the Riders wanted.

I noticed that too. Referees are turning the blind eye when Riders OLine grab the Stamps defense but call it when the Stamps OLine grab even for a short time.

Yep. I expect the Riders to totally hammer the Stamps in the second half as you can see the offense is starting to roll and Chris Jones defense has taken it in the behind all season from Durant and co. I also expect a couple more holding penalties by Pilon, a couple of stupid sacks on Burris as well as an important pick.

That's not a good half at all. 3 points in the first quarter given how much we dominated them is inexcusable. 100 yards in penalties in a half is inexcusable.
We had a chance to bury the Riders, and threw the opportunity away.

10-10 half time. I will take that. But I'm not pleased with the way Stamps are playing.
We must NOT allow those green fools into our house again.

TSN analysts grilling the Stamps on their stupid penalties. Saying that they've given the Riders an entire field of yards to play with.

It's not a matter of being perfect. They had their single opportunity with field position in the middle of the field for the entire first quarter and only 3 points to show for it. Take away a bad 3rd down gamble and really the Stamps should be losing this game despite the fact that the Riders offense only started playing with about seven minutes left in the first half. I fully expected the Stamps to lose this game but they were given an opportunity to get a sizeable lead and the offense choked it away. This game is over.

Sheesh some people....
Looks to me like a prototypical good road game thus far with mistakes kept to minimum and just staying close til the end...then see what happens.
though I do think they need to dtop that "option run" thing as the riders have it figured out. Maybe they have a play off of that formation to spring yet. Also...Hak needs to get rid of the ball...in the CFL sacks are almost always easy to avoid.
Defense is playing very well however...gonna be that same old, down to the wire, late score wins, West final.

It's technically a 0-0 game since it's tied so hopefully the Stamps can start the 2nd half how they started the game minus the dumb penalties. Besides the penalties and not getting a few more points they played a decent half. Go Stamps!
