Even when Liverpool aren't involved you just have to drag their players into it. Whatever makes you feel better.

Slur Alex going off about typical Germans is ludicrous. It was a blatant bookable offense. So what if the Munich players went to the ref. United's players do that often and then some.

Old Fergie is sure p*ssed off today. I guess he is just upset because he was beaten by a team that used Man U style tactics to win the tie.

Sour grapes, and I couldn't be happier to see that foul-mouthed misanthrope out of the CL.

Ditto. I cant believe he said 'Typical Germans.' That Scottish basterd whines and moans more than anyone at refs, especially if United are down by 1 and dont get unlimited extra time to tie it up.

Ah well, his ass got the boot courtesy of a Dutchman!

Fergie such an ass hole.

Quote:
"The young boy showed a bit of inexperience, but they got him sent off, everyone sprinted towards the referee - typical Germans," he said. "They were never getting through that tie. With 11 men, we had no problem."

Asked if he felt the Germans had targeted Rooney's problematic ankle, which was supposed to sideline him for two to three weeks, Ferguson said: "I think that's obvious."

This is why Man U are bunch of whining babies. I cant believe anyone could support this group of idiots.

I see Fergie's point, oh yeah, oh man, look at all those Bayern players screaming at the ref for the red card. They're just mobbing him, they may as well have taken the card out of his pocket for him....

While I agree with your sentiment, I do see that this an issue for older Man U supporters - ones that predate Fergie and his arrogant ramblings. This would have been a different club back in the days of the Busby Babes, Bobby Charlton and Georgie Best, before it was taken over by the Royal Tunbridge Wells Man U Supporters Club and the like.

If I was a Mancunian with a long history of family support for the Red Devils, I don't think it would be easy to ignore how big of a tw*t Fergie is and how things have changed with the club and its fan base over the past 15-odd years.

You could find similar photos for any team or manager in the world.

Once again Locke shows he knows nothing about football.

Yeah, you're right, I know jack about football because I think Man U cultivate a feeling of entitlement.

You lose a game, or get eliminated from a tournament you maintain some class, say you could have played better, and work harder next time. Everyone does it, everyone except Fergie and Man U who say that their opposition cheated in order to win because Man U never lose on their own merit they are always cheated by the refs or underhanded moves by the other team.

Once again united shows he knows jack about football, hes just a mindless Man U follower like millions of the other little lemmings.

Keep your hallucinations to yourself.

And you show us you are just a big of a baby as SAF. You can't pick a part Locke's sound argument so you instead create a strawman argument, classic Man Poo tactics.

Rube's right. From a Tottenham fan's persepective, none of their managers ever pull those sorts of stunts as they are rarely the better side in competitions not called the League Cup. Ergo the gaffer can't act like Fergie or Wenger.

Wenger is the worst at it

He complains about everything, and most of the time there are incidents where he has defended the incident before

For example just in the past year he basically though Adebayor should be suspended for life because of how he ran to the Arsenal fans section after he scored when they played earlier this year, yet Thierry Henry did the same thing in a Spurs/Arsenal game 5 years ago and he had no problem with it then.

Or the quick free kick Porto scored on this year, Arsenal did the same thing a few years ago and he had no problem with it then either.

I'm not complaining about it, don't care if the manager is hypocritical at all. He only has to defend his team at that situation.

But Wenger is the king, followed closely by Fergie

So Arsenal were the better side in the Champions league up until they faced actual champions?

Because I think any of the top 7 or 8 English sides would have been favored to progress out of a group with Olympiakos, Standard Liege and AZ Alkmaar

And favored to progress against Porto as well

about to finish the 5th straight year with no trophy's (domestic or European) for Arsenal

Have to say, I much prefered having TSN (HD) / TSN2 (HD) covering UEFA than Sportsnet (HD) / Setanta (non-HD, $15/month).

Apparently deflecting the attention for losing to Man City from your team so they can concentrate on the season ahead is a bad thing. Coaches will complain it is there job to do the complaining not the team.

I don't follow enough of these threads but I am guessing your a spurs fan am I right. The spurs are all world and all class, never complain, just play hard clean football. God I hope you guys choke away the season and finish out of the top 4. Out of the top 6 would make me even happier
