You can't argue with facts! That's not allowed.
The Locke excuse list
Manchester United is the only team that:
Get 4 points for a win and 2 for a draw
Has players who get three yellow cards before being sent off
Get to play with 12 men on the field
Get to play with a smaller size goal than their opponents
Get to play all their games at home
Only play their games in nice weather
Get the most penalties for and least against
Control the added time
Make the schedule
I look forward to adding to the list.

Showing my age here but I remember the jibes we, as Liverpool fans, used to throw the Mancs way. We would chant numerous songs about the 26 years without a title and, this one I never joined in on as I thought it incredibly poor taste, the Munich disaster.
Much as I loath United, as any true blood Liverpool fan would, we have to take our lumps now. United fans did have some despicable songs about Hillsborough, which were also in incredible poor taste. But then you get the type of stuff that Bagor is throwing out there which is downright funny, even from my perspective.
What's been around comes around and, I just know, that the time is coming for the shoe to be on the other foot again. Let's just keep the tasteless stuff out of it in the future.
And just for the record, United do have a play until they score rule at the end of the match when they're losing. Don't know how Slur Alex does it but that's some power he has!

Great pic Jagger!
Anyways, Ferguson does get away with more stuff than anyone else. There is something called the 'respect campaign', which he routinely violates. It took him calling a referee fat (in a roundabout way) before he ever got any sort of discipline for it. Rafa, meanwhile, has gotten reprimanded for a gesture he made with his glasses.

How did he even insinuate he was fat? He questioned his fitness, that was it.

The biggest problem according to the head of the referee's union is that by questioning the referee's match fitness, he essentially questioned his professionalism and the professionalism of other referees. Match officials over here are taking it as a pretty offensive statement across the board and are pushing for a UEFA-style ban for this fool and not some £5000 fine and a touch-line ban.
Funny thing with this guy is that it seems that he does less whining and complaining than he did in the past when he would stammer on and on over every little thing he could. Now he is more 'composed' with his commentary and general demeanor, but when he does say something it is usually highly inflammatory and controversial - like the situation we have now. People were used to him crying about every decision in Man U matches as well as others. Now he has a seemingly quieter profile until he opens his gob and something really offensive (to some one) pours out.
Funny old Scots git he is.

LOL. Offensive? Inflammatory?
Rightfully or wrongly. He questioned his fitness.
Things got that PC over there?
Anyways .... this world cup will show as others have via the pre-tournament referee fitness tests that when it comes to global refereeing fitness that indeed the English ones are at the bottom of the pile.

Yeah it has. You kind of can't say much these days without some one or some group getting offended. Unfortunately for Fergie this doesn't bode well. Like I said, people used to tolerate his petulant ravings and imbecilic comments much more in previous years - sort of like they did with Mourinho. For whatever reason, this isn't really the case any longer.

Dude, its the same thing as what happens when anyone comments about the referees in hockey, coaches have probably been fined for saying that Kerry Fraser has a bad haircut.
Are the English referees in poor fitness? I dont know, but you cant consume the sheer volume of Yorkshire pudding and Stout and not expect to face some consequences.
There might be some fat refs but they're not all bad.

Tottenham captain Robbie Keane has kicked off the mind games ahead of this weekend's derby against Arsenal by insisting Harry Redknapp has the greater strength in depth in his squad.
''You look at the two squads and we're definitely on a par,'' he said. ''In the last four or five years Arsenal always managed to get ahead of us but if you look now it is even.
''It will be judged at the end of the season but if you look at the bench we have, it is probably a bit stronger than their bench.

Should be good game. I'd love to see Spurs steal a win.

^ Has there ever been a bigger waste of millions of pounds in the Premiership than Robbie Keane, with the exception of Shevchenko and JS Veron?
This is the guy, upon winning the Carling Cup, who claimed that, "It is the greatest day of my life." Talk about an unfulfilling life. Keep reaching for those stars Keano.

Aside from one crappy half-season with Liverpool Keane's been an incredibly consistent and reliable striker in the Premiership.. how could you beak the 10th highest Premier League scorer? Just because he spent the majority of his time with a non-"Big 4" club? And god forbid a player take pride in winning a domestic cup competition, which are usually taken for granted by most in the Premier League these days.

Taking pride in the League Cup is one thing, believing that it is the greatest day in not only your professional life, but you entire life? I think that far surpasses basic pride, no?

Spurs getting absolutely hammered right now. 60th minute and 3-0 to the Arsenal. Looks like Spurs are already thinking ahead to the League Cup tie with Man U. Maybe that Cup is something they can actually win.

Well Liverpools title chances are done. performances like that are embarrassing. Degens red was a bit harsh but Carra had zero argument. We just don't have the depth to challenge and will have to spend money in Jan to try to get better. That being said, I think the race is Chelseas to lose.

I despise Chelsea for different reasons.
Another flash of brilliance from Berbatov just now. If he could only put it together game in game out...
