way to 'take one for the team'. i'd say you took your team of choice.
We all recognize that Van was most likely the highest rated team left over (goaltending being very important), but the cost of success just doesn't equal the repulsiveness in my mind.
realistically im just pokin' for fun, but it would have been nice to see get picked lower than edmonton

The older players involvement in situations like this are weird with EA. Sometimes they don't include people that have been added to the NHL in each game update, or they keep people that are far removed from hockey still in the game, or they very quickly remove all data from players that leave the NHL during the season.
It was cool having Theo on my 07 team, but I was blown away last year when Roberts retired and the next roster update completely deleted him from the game.

Yeah, he was a machine in NHL 09. I was so pissed, he was the only one who ever scored on me when someone play me as Vancouver.

Alright, well I gave many of the remaining teams a tryout. Unfortunately Vancouver is the best team still available. It came real close between them and Atlanta for me.
With the 21st pick Temporary_User regrettably picks the Vancouver Canucks.
