The Dodgers respond to that with a walk and single and it's a 2-2 ball game with runners in scoring position.

Longtime Dodgers fan here...and that was just an AMAZING game no matter how you look at it. Couldn't have scripted a better ending to that game. Manny is a non-factor but somehow these guys are doing what they need to do to win games. Go Dodgers!!!

What does it cost on Shaw, to get the other Sportsnet channels? They really need a Sportsnet 2 like TSN.

How was that an amazing game?
I am a Cardinals fan and would say it was a meh game no matter how you look at it.
As JayP said easy play to end the game is dropped, terrible pitiching leads to the game winning run.
That is not an amazing game it was a sloppy game where neither team likely deserved to win based on the number of stupid plays by each.

It was really a pretty boring game for the playoffs.
The Dodgers didn't do as much to win it as the Cardinals (Holliday in particular obviously) did to lose it. That's a routine catch for a half decent slo-pitch outfielder.

I just realized there is no way for me to watch the Yankees game tomorrow unless I subscribe. What a freaking joke.

Ah well, I enjoyed it. No need to justify why.

No reason to justify why you enjoyed the game at all.
But there certainly is a reason to justify why you would think the game was amazing.
Even a Dodgers homer would have to think the game was pretty crappy, but the result was great.

I agree, it was really sloppy. Don't forget the bad baserunning. That baserunning error on the Cards' second run is looming large now. Not as large as letting the last out of the game hit you in the nuts, but large nonetheless.

Not if he keeps seeing 4 wide ones every at bat he won't.
I also thought game 2 was a better game than game 1, but I like pitching duels.

That may be the most pathetically obvious blown call I've ever seen. How do you call a ball that lands waaaaay inside the line foul? You have one job, an it's a fataing easy one at that, and you blow it? Seriously? If that guy works another game it's a joke.
