With our next pick team Piper's Pits is happy to select in the category of Storyline:
Macho Man bit by a cobra.
Randy "Macho Man" Savage VS Jake "The Snake" Roberts
At Summerslam 1991, Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth were to be married but while the reception was taking place, they were presented with a present from Jake "The Snake" Roberts: a king cobra snake.
A few weeks after his gift, Roberts attacked Savage in the middle of the ring and tied his arms in the ropes. With Savage subdued, Roberts opened his infamous bag and out came the same king cobra. Roberts held back WWE security with the snake and then proceeded to irritate the snake by slapping it, causing it to bite Macho Man's bicep!
It was at this point things went horribly wrong. Of course, everything before this moment was suppose to happen, including the bite. What wasn't suppose to happen was the snake biting and chewing and Macho Man's muscle tissue as Roberts tried desperately to pull the snake off. With Robert's pulling at the snake, its teeth dug deeper and deeper into the Macho Man before it finally let go.
Luckily (and obviously) the cobra had been defanged so Savage suffered no snake-bite poisoning or major damage to his arm. Due to the gore and violent reality of the angle, it is one of the most original, well-known, and disturbing wrestling angles in the history of the business.
Due to fan pressure, Savage would be "re-instated" as a wrestler by WWF president Jack Tunney so that he could do battle with Roberts. The feud was brutal. During the Tuesday in Texas pay-per-view, Roberts — after losing to Savage — beat him down, then forced Elizabeth to beg for mercy; when Roberts was dissatisfied with her, he slapped her hard across the face.
The Montreal Screwjob
The two men fought at Survivor Series '97. Bret was the champ and this was going to be his last match before leaving for WCW. Shortly before this match, Vince informed Bret he would no longer honor their 20 year contract. He used the excuse that he could no longer afford him because they were losing the Monday Night Wars to WCW. Others have said that since the company was going public, Vince needed to get long term liabilities (ex: a 20 year contract) off his balance sheet. Bret had worked out a deal with Vince where he would not lose the title to Shawn that night. He offered to lose the belt to anyone else, but he refused to lose to Shawn in his home country of Canada. The match ended with Vince McMahon calling for the bell even though Bret was in the process of reversing the sharpshooter. After the match, Shawn ran to the back with the title. On TV Bret spit on Vince, broke the TV equipment, and wrote out WCW with his fingers to the audience. Backstage he gave Vince McMahon a black eye.

Just to clarify, you need to select a PPV event for this category, so I'm assuming you want The Survivor Series '97? Also, you still have a pick to make up.
My 8th round pick will be in the match category...
This one is a little out of left field, not a WWE or WCW "classic" or even a PPV match.

Team Sylin' and Profilin' is proud to select as their Womens Wrestler, Amy Dumas AKA Lita.
After briefly working on the independent circuit and in Extreme Championship Wrestling, Dumas signed with World Wrestling Federation in 1999. Originally, she was paired with Essa Rios, but she achieved her greatest push alongside Matt and Jeff Hardy as Team Xtreme. Throughout her career, she won the WWE Women's Championship four times.
Dumas had an off-screen relationship with Matt Hardy, which ended in 2005 after her affair with Adam "Edge" Copeland. WWE used the real-life drama between the trio as a storyline throughout 2005 and 2006, which led to Dumas being booed by the fans for the first time and her character becoming villainous on-screen. The relationship also led to the firing of Hardy in 2005, although he was rehired later in the year.
in the Stable category, I'm gonna have to go with one of my favourite heel stables of all time (if not my all time favourite).

I'm stuck at work, but to keep the draft going, I select as my match The TLC match from Summer Slam 2000. History
The TLC match is a variation of a ladder match with a particular emphasis on the use of the three most popular "foreign objects" in wrestling. The TLC match usually pits three or more tag teams against each other, but is available for a one-on-one match. The goal is to acquire the item (usually championship belts) which starts the match suspended above the ring. A TLC match can be seen as a more complicated ladder match, where tables and chairs, along with ladders, can also be used as legal foreign objects. This, compared to the relative ages of the wrestlers involved, gives the match an atmosphere similar to that of a hardcore match.
WWE created and adapted the matches to make it known today as a TLC match. The idea of the TLC match in WWE had its origins in a tag-team ladder match for the managerial services of Terri Runnels between Edge and Christian and the Hardy Boyz at No Mercy 1999, with audiences giving all four wrestlers a standing ovation at the end of the match. The move catapulted both tag teams to the top of the tag team world. The following months had the Hardy Boyz face the Dudley Boyz in a tag-team Tables match, which had similar success.
The three teams would be known for their three respective foreign objects, as well as the hardcore wrestling styles associated therein: the Dudley Boyz often had a spot in their tag team matches where Bubba Ray Dudley would say "D-Von, get the tables!" when a table spot was imminent; the Hardy Boyz, in singles matches, would challenge main-event singles wrestlers (such as The Undertaker) in Ladder matches, considered at that time to be the "signature match" of the team; while Edge and Christian developed the "Con-Chair-To" finishing move, which involved the two hitting an opponent's head simultaneously with chairs. Eventually, the three teams were brought together in a Triple Threat Ladder match in WrestleMania 2000, in what would be the forerunner of the TLC in terms of the spots involved (tables were involved in some of the major spots, even though it was technically a Ladder match). It is incorrectly referred to by some fans as the first TLC match. The match was called a Triangle Ladder Match.
The first TLC match was contested between these three teams using the weapons (and to a lesser extent, the type of match) that they had made famous at SummerSlam 2000
For my second pick, I select as my title....the WWE Smoking Skull title
With my ninth pick in the draft, I am proud to select as my top PPV – the first E-C-DUB pay-per-view: Barely Legal (1997)
Getting the pay-per-view on in the first place was a struggle. Viewer's Choice (now named In Demand) was very hesitant at putting ECW on pay-per-view because they felt that ECW was too vulgar and brutal, and refused to air the show without restrictions on the content. Paul Heyman claimed that this was a double standard because Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) was being criticized for its violent content at the time, but it was still getting pay-per-view time. Request TV agreed to give ECW a pay-per-view under the condition that it aired at 9:00 p.m. rather than the 7:00 p.m. time slot that pay-per-views usually held during that time frame.
An electric power transformer blew out moments after the show went off the air due to all the power being used by the building. It is said that had the show gone on even 10 seconds longer, they would have lost the feed.
The event was put in jeopardy when Viewer's Choice cancelled the show in response to the "Mass Transit" incident. However, Viewer's Choice eventually changed their minds after much pleading from ECW promoter Paul Heyman.
Barely Legal was released as part of a two-disc set with One Night Stand 2006 on July 11, 2006. It had previously been released in 2000 by Pioneer Entertainment as part of its "The Best of ECW" line of DVDs. The Pioneer release trimmed out many of the ring entrances, removed the music on the entrances not edited out (with the exception of songs ECW owned the rights to, including changing "Enter Sandman" from the Metallica version to Motörhead's cover), and edited out the backstage promos and part of Shane Douglas's promo in the ring. The release included with One Night Stand's DVD censored offensive language (used by the performers when they would cut promos, not used for the fans' chants) and changed the majority of the entrance music to music produced by WWE to avoid licensing fees.
1 The Eliminators (John Kronus and Perry Saturn) defeated The Dudley Boyz (Buh Buh Ray and D-Von) (c) (with Joel Gertner and Sign Guy Dudley). Tag team match for the ECW Tag Team Championship 06:11 3
