I thought that was a done deal, but perhaps not.

I saw that...though I wonder if Dawk is looking for longer than a 1 year deal. He mentioned towards the end of last year he could envision playing a couple more years.
As for Andrews, that seems like a logical fit. I can't imagine a better thrill for an O lineman than playing beside your brother. If he signs, the Eagles are going to have a beast of an O-line.

Bart Scott has been offered 40 million over 5 years by the Jets....which would re-unite him with Rex Ryan.
Mike Vrabel is nearing being traded to the Chiefs.

Safety Brian Dawkins is on his way to Denver for a visit. Dawkins has played 13 seasons in the NFL, all with the Eagles. The Broncos ranked 29th in the NFL in total defense in 2009.

Would the brothers play together or do we move Shawn out to tackle as well? But the Andrews at guard and tackle would be a mammoth road grater of a right side!
Sign Thomas for at least one more year maybe two. I don't think Todd is quite ready to shift to tackle.
Dawkins will be back with the Gang Green. I can't see him going anywhere else. Length of Term will be the only hanging point.

TJ has the Vikings on the radar, and Seattle, where he's to visit today.

Seahawks likely to lose Ingram, and Rocky Bernard visiting the Giants.

Haynesworth signs with the Redskins for $100 M (7 year deal).

Oh yeah, I never got to comment yet on Harrison leaving the Colts. He'll always be one of my all time favorites but he is just too old now and his knee injury is too much for him now. A 1st ballot HOF'er as soon as he is eligible and I wish him the best of luck elsewhere.

Kerry Collins has re-upped with the Titans for 2 years at 15 million bucks.
New England’s veteran long snapper Lonnie Paxton signed a five-year, $5.5 deal with the Broncos that includes a $1 million signing bonus. The deal makes Paxton the second-highest paid long snapper in the NFL, slightly behind Cleveland’s Ryan Pontbriand.

The Broncos are moving fast in free agency but it's not on the defensive side of the ball. Yet.
The team has agreed to four-year contracts with running backs J.J. Arrington and Correll Buckhalter.
The NFL Network is reporting Philadelphia safety Brian Dawkins is on his way for a visit to Denver and the Baltimore Sun is reporting that linebacker Ray Lewis could be on Denver's radar.

Lions Strike deal with Morris
Quote:
Detroit is on the free-agent scoreboard. It reached agreement Friday with former Seahawks running back Maurice Morris on a three-year deal worth close to $7 million.

Ward will visit Bengals
Quote:
Giants free agent running back Derrick Ward is scheduled to visit the Bengals on Saturday. Ward rushed for 1,025 yards and two touchdowns and along with Brandon Jacobs (1,089) became only the fifth pair of teammates to rush for more than 1,000 yards in the same season.

Lewis Open to returning to Baltimore
Quote:
When Ray Lewis‘ future in Baltimore was questioned, his former teammate Rod Woodson reached out to him.
After speaking with Lewis, Woodson reported that Lewis never said he wouldn’t return to the Ravens. He is open to go back to Baltimore. Lewis never told DeMarcus Ware that his dream was to play for the Cowboys despite published reports.
Lewis is in Florida with his kids relaxing and does not expect to make any decisions on his future until Monday

The San Francisco Chronicle cites "a league source" reporting that Brian Dawkins has agreed to a two-year contract with the Broncos.
A press conference is scheduled for Saturday. Philly was considered a near lock to retain Dawkins on a one-year deal, but he's set to quarterback the Broncos defense in a Rodney Harrison-type role. Dawkins showed last season that he has plenty left in tank and will help the Broncos defense get back to respectability while in rebuilding mode. Feb. 27 - 4:54 pm et

I'm in utter disbelief. Reid and Banner couldn't offer a two-year deal? That's absolutely embarassing that Dawkins will be retiring in any other jersey. Good for the Broncos except I hate them now.

Dawkins signs in Denver.
Bart Scott is deciding between the Jets and Ravens, whichever team loses out will get Ray Lewis (presumambly).
