The Colts should be ashamed of themselves. Last game in the RCA Dome, defending champs, Gates is out, LT is out early, Rivers is out early in the 3rd and they lose to Billy Volek on a long drive.
Unbelieveable. This could very well be the end of Dungy and I have a suspicion that Harrison's days of dominance are over. He'll be back, but I this season's injury was the beginning of the end for him.
New England is sitting pretty now - the Chargers are hit or miss and depending on the severity of River's injury (and LT's), they might be in for a cake-walk.

I just noticed on that replay of SD stopping IND at the 8yd line on 4th down, after the play one of the SD players took his helmet off on the field... Isn't that a penalty? (not that it would have mattered)

It is... unsportsmanlike. Indy needed a few more of those... earlier in the game.

NE will beat SD. NE is just too powerful. Congratulations to the Chargers though for winning. Indy made way too many mistakes offensively. Fumble by Harrison really changed the complexion of the game and that was the turning point. Colts driving for 14-0 and then minutes later it's 7-7. I see a NE vs GB Superbowl. I don't see how the Patriots lose to anyone now. I'm going for the Packers out of anyone left.

Yeah that Harrison fumble was a big turning point, as was River's 3rd and 15 conversion, same with Volek's 3rd down conversion on the TD march. Merriman's rush on that 4th down was huge.

I feel bad for Dungy though.
One of the best classacts in the NFL.
But the Chargers played an awesome game.

Why is there so much hate for Rivers?

I just wanted to add, as much as I hate NE, Philip Rivers could learn something from Tom Brady. Brady is such a class act yet Rivers is talking trash acting like he's the one who's won 3 SB's. What a little b*tch. That's why everyone respects Brady.
I'm sure the role will be reversed and you'll hear about Manning calling Brady in a few weeks time wishing him the best in the SB.

I'll congratulate in advance for the win next week Habby. Colts made way too many mistakes on an injured Chargers team. NE will beat them by 14.
PS........Everyone hates Rivers because he is a little b*tch. He acts like he is the king of the world. If anyone Brady should act like that but he doesn't because he is a class act. Philip Rivers is a punk a** b*tch.

This DAL NYG game was the only one that was touted as an 'either way' game. TO is in, so DAL has a clear advantage. But after watching SD take out IND, all bets are off. I wanted DAL in the SB to lose to NE because I've got money on that exact scenario, but now I really want GB there. At least if it's GB, no matter who wins, I'm happy. So that said, DAL might as well lose now. I hate TO anyway.

He was trash-talking with the Colt's fans.
I wouldn't call him an egotistical loser....but he is obviously high on himself.

Rivers needs to realize that he didn't so much win the game as much as Indy lost it. Yeah he got that wicked 15 yarder in the 3rd or early 4th, but without some serious errors by IND, SD would be the ones heading to the golf course (or whatever NFLers do in the off season).

And further to my post above, as much as I like to make fun of Manning's interceptions, those were barely his fault. Still his fault, but assisted by the receivers.

The first few posts of the NFL regular season thread are interesting to read. I see Dis called an NE/DAL SB. He still could be right.

Out skiing today, and was shocked to come back and see Colts lost. Wow.
Is there any talk that maybe they coasted too much down the stretch, and just were not sharp?
Or was the curse fulfilled for what they did to the Browns?
How hurt are Rivers and L.T.?
Could it be the younger Manning goes further than big brother?
Are the Colts going into another dome next year, or an outdoor stadium?
