3 months after I first posted in this thread I left the small business I worked for (which folded a couple years later.... which was 6 years too late!... those guys didn't know how to manage money).
I moved to the company I am still employed at. I started as a Help Desk guy and now I'm the IT Manager. I became manager quicker than I wanted but I wasn't going to pass it up. Now I have to be the one to deal with unhappy clients and unmotivated staff members. It was so much easier to pass along the pissy people to the boss.
