Wendy Mesley has been suffering from breast cancer. I assume she lost her hair due to chemotherapy.

Uhh ... correct me if I'm wrong, but the "urban voters" and the voters who are concerned about the economy are two different beasts in this election.
I would wager the economic/capitalists are completely happy with the Conservative win, and the only reason the markets may not jump the way they should with a Conservative win, is because we still have a minority gov't so uncertainty may breed itself in investors ...
.. but if you mean "urban voters", as in those who are god-fearin', gay-hatin' folk? Then yeah, I am hopin' their fears will be subsided because I am banking on the Conservatives to stick to important matters as opposed to the private matters of my neighbours (so to speak).

It was good to see her back on TV again tonight.
Has CBC revealed who their "election insider" was? It's been driving me crazy throughout the campaign.

That is interesting about Anders' huge margin of victory. Props to Danielle Roberts of the Green for coming in third and breaking the 10% mark.

I'm sure that's in spite of Anders, not because of him. The strength of his opponents doesn't help. Jennifer Pollock? UGHHH...

That's no credit to Anders.
It's called; "running as a Conservative in Alberta". You could put OJ Simpson is, and he would win the majority of ridings.
Heck, if Jean Chretien ran as a Conservative in most Alberta ridings, he would win.

How can anyone vote for this POS? I don't care what party he's part of, this guy is a complete ######bag and doesn't deserve to be representing anyone.

As the Liberal supporters have told us all along, there are certain times you just have to hold your nose and do it anyway.
I don't necessarily agree with that in all cases, but in some cases there are bigger pictures that need to be looked at.

Liberal supporters taught you that, and only at certain times? When was the last time Alberta supported any other party than the Conservatives, or its various incarnations?
If any group in this country is an example of party loyalty under any circumstances, it's Alberta.
