His skating is still a work in progress, especially if he’s going to transition into more of an energy guy in the NHL. On the surface, he brings a lot to his two-way game that you want to see, but there’s still a long runway to become an NHLer.

Curran is with the Oil Kings this season, so he should have a healthy hatred of Edmonton by the time he comes here.
