He’s playing for a new contract with a new team, he knows he’s not coming back because he chose not to. This is why he should have been traded in the off-season and they did, but he wouldn’t extend for one and the other he blocked.

I'm pretty happy that rumoured Andersson for Byram trade didn't go through.
Dreger really built up that LA trade though...would've been fun to see.
I'll be happy once he's dealt, excited to see the return.

Of course the level of care on the team isn't the same. They are a bad team that's having even less success than they deserve.

If he blocked a trade, he had a NTC. That is completely on Flames management.
He has every right to not extend with any team either until the offseaon. Again, this falls completely on management. They should have traded him at the deadline during a sellers market, and instead went cup chasing.

And you believe they don’t sound true because it’s critical of the flames, rarely are you ever critical of them and often you’re quick to downplay any negativity.
That’s just the impression you give off.

What were they offered for him at the deadline? I don't remember hearing any rumoured offers.

I'm not sure but Carlo got a 1st, 4th, and a prospect. And Andersson is better.
It was a sellers market which is why I was mad we didn't make a move to sell at the time.

Players not playing as hard this year after the start they've had makes sense. A couple of guys being unhappy with their roles does too.
Andersson being the reason behind it doesn't.
IMO, it's the tough schedule to start, combined with missing Huberdaeu for the first few games. And most of all, Wolf not saving this team's bacon on a nightly basis. They know they aren't making the playoffs, which makes for a long season, and a lot of frustration.
I just don't see how it was caused by not making 1 trade in the off-season. We would've been even worse if Parekh started the season in the top 4, I think that could've shattered his confidence right there.

I'd wager if Razz could do it again he probably wouldn't block any of the trades they did have lined up. He's at least have a fresh start and a better chance to make a good contract. Now he's stuck in a pretty fantastic mess that he has, in part created.

Who said this is all Andersson’s fault? I surely didn’t.
It’s a number of things combined, all feeding off each other.
Just not a fun place to be, which I think we all know is the case during seasons like this so that’s not anything special news wise.

Yeah I think everyone would agree there’s negativity all around that locker room. Royle in fact did say he thinks it’s multiple guys, not just Andersson.
I agree with you that the biggest reason this team is where they are is that Wolf isn’t stealing wins this year, his play is still good, just everyone in front of him stinks.
With that all said, I believe Royle and I also think Andersson may have more reasons (looming trade, long term flame) to be jaded right now than most others on the team.

I’d the third goal counted why not count that one. Just push the goalie wherever you want in this game.

Either way, if he is a problem it helps the tank! And I approve of it.

Man, Hrudey is having a rough night. Doesn't matter about a whistle Kelly. It was waved off.

That’s a bad non-challenge by the Blues in my eyes.
