Guys we're all continuing to believe he's only getting 12.5M which is the same AAV currently.
Are we honestly forgetting about the other thread and the 50/50 more like 80/20 thread where its been proven they are using that money for "unknown" purposes.
He's getting more, we just don't see it.

Unless they are a non playoff team though he isn't going to leave mid season IMO...he will want one more kick at McDrai

So you think Edmonton would risk going to the third year him being unsigned? Because he's leaving for sure if they don't win.
Either way both Hyman and Ekholm are over the hill at that point, if they already aren't.

His agent should be fired today.$12.5M AAV is embarassing, even with the excuse he wants to help out the team. Then they reach out and sign Walman for $7M AAV.
The only way McDavid salary makes sense is if he told the team I will sign for $12.5M so you can trade me at the end of the season, gets him to TO at the right price and in a couple years he can sign his extension there (his new contract replaces the Marner one that just expired).
Glad to see Bowman is still stupid as all get out.
