You missed my point. My point was, Dallas is playing against the PT winners giving it their all. So if Dallas doesn't look as good as you think they should, a big part of the reason is the fact that their opponent is playing with desperation.

The moneypuck deserve meter is 47%... it has been about an even game aside from Helle's bad goals against.

Your pal in another thread said he Washington was crap and the regular season didn’t mean much. But when you say it against Dallas or Winnipeg it’s “this guy”.

You can look at how Dallas finished down the stretch. They played poorly against Colorado as well lucky to get by thanks to a great 3rd by Rantanen.

Well now we have to hope that the stars wrap this up in game five so that they’re arrested for the Oilers. They’ll still blow it because the Oilers are unstoppable but at least it’ll be a better series.

I go back to my concern before game #1 with only having 1 day off between on ice days. Jet's needed maximum rest/recovery after that series. There are other things that take into affect for teams after a long season. In Dallas and other warm markets these players chill by the pool or the beach on off days. In Canada they are indoors.

Having your players at a rest disadvantage on game #1 cause you decided to practice PP/PK is boneheaded.

They had to win FOUR games vs Colorado to get past them. It wasn't all Rantanen's doing.

Dallas had the 3rd highest points percentage in the NHL since Jan 1. And they were missing some of their best players and didn't have Rantanen for most of that time. They are a very good team.

They lost to the grease last playoffs but have added one of the league's top forwards since then. They'll have a better shot this time. Far from a guarantee to win, but a better shot this time.

On what planet is beating the Avs four times in 7 games lucky. Dallas has had the toughest matchups in the playoffs and are 7-4. Just give it a rest thr Stars are a top team and a cup contender. There is no spin left to spin.
