It isn’t a wake up thing - this is what happened when teams with superior talent also work hard. There’s a reason these 3 teams have been top teams for multiple years

It happened a lot more before the forward pass was legalized, but 3 in a row still happens on occasion. Most-recently was exactly one month ago today when the Flyers were shutout for the third straight game. 4 in a row hasn't happened since the first year after expansion.

They are bad and probably getting a little unlucky right now but last I checked Huberdeau was the 90th highest forward in scoring. Hard to count on the offense with him as the leading scorer
