Baldwin was one of the reasons Adams wanted to come here as well.

Shame about Baldwin's health issues. He and Adams had worked together previously and that would have made for an easier transition but always nice to see fresh coaching blood in the CFL as maybe Prukop could be the next great CFL OC.

It's time for Canadians to put their money where their mouth is and stop watching the NFL while the trade #### is happening and move to the CFL. It's a all Canadian product and it's a great product.

Stamps could get BCs first round pick this year.
According to the CFL’s constitution, however, any draft picks forfeited due to a salary cap violation don’t merely disappear — instead, they are redistributed to another squad.
The team with the highest waiver priority — in other words, the team with the worst record from the previous year — is awarded the forfeited draft picks, provided they didn’t also violate the salary cap. The selection also falls to the end of the round from which it was forfeited.
This means that the first-round 2025 CFL Draft selection currently held by the B.C. Lions, who are expected to lose it due to a salary cap violation, would end up with the Calgary Stampeders, who finished a league-worst 5-12-1 last year.

I will hold my breath until it happens but it would be great to finally see a team pay a price for abusing the salary cap.

Prior to joining the Beavers, the native of Louisville, Ky. spent three years at the University of South Carolina. He appeared in 15 games for the Gamecocks, logging 97 carries for 523 yards and two touchdowns as well as 14 receptions for 108 yards.

In a CFL mock draft, John Hodge has the Stamps picking Connor Shay with the first overall pick. A 4.52 40 yard dash is lightning fast for a linebacker.
Canadian linebacker Connor Shay performed for NFL and CFL scouts during his University of Wyoming pro day on Wednesday.
10 NFL teams were in attendance, including the Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Chargers, New Orleans Saints, and Washington Commanders.
The three CFL teams in attendance were the Calgary Stampeders, Saskatchewan Roughriders, and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The Stamps currently hold the first overall pick in the 2025 CFL Draft.
Shay checked in at six-foot-one-and-a-half and 227 pounds. He recorded a 38.5-inch vertical, 10-foot, three-inch broad jump, 4.52-second 40-yard dash, 4.35-second shuttle, and 6.80-second three-cone drill.

He’ll get NFL contract offers. I’m not saying skip him but he may stick there for awhile.

Yeah, already comparisons to Alex Singleton who has had several productive years in the NFL. Tough to turn down that lucrative NFL money even if you don't get all that much game action.

Stamps need help on the OL, do they grab a Tiger by the tail? At the bottom of the attached article, they write that he could be a top draft selection.
The 2025 CFL Draft has gotten a big addition in the form of University of Nevada-Las Vegas offensive lineman Tiger Shanks, sources have confirmed to 3DownNation.
The six-foot-five, 325-pound blocker was born in Vancouver, B.C. to Chinese model and entrepreneur Kerry Yu, who most recently served as an executive producer for Miss Universe Canada. Shanks indicated to 3DownNation via text message that he and his family moved to China when he was very young and spent around five years there before settling in the United States. He was raised primarily in Lake Oswego, Ore.

Yes, I think they are going to use the draft to fill in some holes on the lines. Not sure about linebacker though.
WE kind of need players now, Shay will go to the NFL.

I think anybody who has been to the locker room sale could see that the 'lounge' area of the dressing room wasn't much at all, and that the actual dressing room is at best adequate.

Its not "another D-". its from the original report. The article refers to them correcting the issue.
