It’s very interesting how much attention is placed on the regular season matchups between these teams, particularly with the Oilers having something to prove. As a Canucks fan, I hope the players use the media's portrayal of them as underdogs as added motivation.

The Canucks should post that tweet in the dressing room.

No kidding. They’re all so drunk on the Oilers kool-aid, they forgot that the Canucks won the division and owned the Oilers all year. They’re also a much deeper, faster, and more skilled team than the Kings. I don’t think this will be an easy series for the Oilers by any means. This series will of course come down to the officiating and how lopsided the calls are in favour of the wonder twins.

It’s like they were born on third base and think they’ve hit a triple.

Demko out is probably the reason everyone is taking Oilers in this series.
Suspect it would have been pretty split otherwise.
I think Oilers take it in 5 or 6.

That's counted for exactly nil in 8 years of McOverrated.
Do we just take nothing from the previous years outcome and rise/repeat our preedictions hoping to be broken clocks? That's what it looks like.

Maybe I have been living here too long, but I thought it was funny. It seemed overly harsh on Jack Campbell though. The guy is just there to eat popcorn. But F him in particular lol.

So trashy and Vancouver, yet I can't bring myself to hate those cusses.
The cognitive dissonance this round is going to be off the charts.

One good thing about the Oilers destroying the Canucks this next round is that JT Miller prob has another meltdown and demands to be traded destroying the locker room.

Even if the Canucks get destroyed this could be the furthest from the truth.

TBH, I'd rather see Canucks destroying the Oilers and the twins have a meltdown and demand to be traded.

Not sure Edmonton people giving the Canucks more reasons to rally to prove people wrong is a wise strategy.
Better to be as ho hum as possible, talk about your opponent respectfully and lull them into continuing their relatively passive style of play.
But they were never really ones to use their heads.
Players on the other side will hear that ####.
