That’s twice this year they’ve made really bad challenge decisions

Really wish we had more talent on this team. So many missed chances on the other end.

Clearly they are not going to give the Flames a powerplay today. They've missed 2 obvious ones so far.

Well, if the refs picked Huby, you can’t accuse them of a bias against us.

The coach chooses.
I'm not sure if it has to be a player who was on the ice at the time. I'm guessing not because it always used to be Tkachuk and he couldn't have been on the ice every time there was a bench minor.

Break-even challenge probability in that spot is about 20%. If the Flames thought there was a 20% or greater chance of the goal being overturned, good decision irrespective of outcome.

He tripped him. But IMO Hischier kicked out intentionally - the puck was there. His falling angle should not have taken him into Wolf.

They just need to start doing what what Dallas did on the Backlund glove pass challenge recently. Have a long conversation with the ref first where you show him things on the tablet before confirming your challenge.

There was no trip, but a slight shove directly in the back. Amazingly, that caused the Devils’ player to develop amazingly fast rotational acceleration, to the point that he would have completed a successful triple axel jump if Wolf hadn’t interrupted him.
