Should probably tell this guy, he's trying to figure it out too:
Joshua Semeter is the director of Boston University's Center for Space Physics. He is also part of a panel researching unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP). The acronym has replaced UFO.
In his opinion, they are too small to hold the amount of gas needed to be a balloon at that altitude.

Sounds like Biden is going to be doing a State of the Union televised address today about the Chinese balloon and the three unidentified objects (which they still allegedly haven't found).
Honestly now that these balloons are showing up all over the world, I wonder how many are launched as a prank, and the airforces around the world are blowing $100,000 of dollars in flight, maintenance and missile costs shooting down weather balloons bought on line from the same people who think its hilarious to shoot lasers at airliners.
I'm just waiting for a strafing run on some kids birthday party because Boo Boo the clown is inflating balloons for some kids, and CSIS or the CIA get word of it.
And our national leader whether Trudeau or Biden will claim that they've dealt a major blow against domestic terrorism. Or if its a Chinese kids birthday party a major spy ring.
"We got him" They'll crow as they hold up a bullet ridden picture of Boo Boo clutching shredded Winne the Poo balloons in his hand. Then they'll play the video of with radio chatter of Major Kenny "Bloodaxe" McGuffin gleefully rolling hid F22 in on the party and see the gun camera footage.
