Great effort 2nd period. Pressing hard, struggling to Finish. Goaltender keeping them in it. Defense needs an overhaul, too many high danger opportunities for no good reason.

Lucic may not have the wheels but he has a lot of size and he’s good on the boards. He’s a guy I’d re-sign at a much more reduced cap hit. Like 1 million, he’s mo two million dollar player but he’s still valuable. If there were more fights for him to be tested in if maybe offer a bit more.

Good team effort this period. They were the better team. Pitt is long in the tooth. They have been good for so long, but we gotta keep the compete up.

The issue with that is you sign these bums and they are guaranteed a roster with Sutter. Goodluck to any nhl ready player with speed and skill we just can't make it work because Lucic is signed.
