From these comments from coaches and players you can see how uneasy anyone is with standing up for what’s right, because they’re all buds. It’s all this old boys club who won’t say anything that would upset the apple cart. Tippets words were pathetic, same with Keith, same with Toews. Just embarrassing

I'm pissed about the lack of accountability from virtually everyone around the situation.
Acting like you wish you knew and did more while the cameras are rolling when the truth you did know and did nothing is exactly what's wrong with the culture around the game.
Being accountable is unpopular and terrifying, but its also right. It's overwhelmingly right.

This really angers me in so many different ways. The Stanley Cup is the epitome of sports success and the effort required to win is extremely difficult. However the basic decency of human rights have been so violated in this case that it makes me sick. How can one idolize these sports figures after hearing what Beach experienced. The NHL needs to make an example of these authority figures such as Quenville. Turning a blind eye is inexcusable and accountability needs to occur. This should be punishable to the maximum standard and Beach is a true hero for breaking his silence and exposing these secrets. Somebody like that is much more deserving of a Stanley cup engraving then these so called hockey hero’s.
