I remember going to the Habs Stanley cup Finals game. There was only 3500 fans there. If you had your mask off for more than a few seconds the usher would be there. It was crazy strict.

Do you blow up your wife’s social circle for this ? What about your kids ?
Will anything come of it if authorities show up and they provide forged proof (it’s not like police can just access their medical records). It is such and easy to forge system right now? Is there even an obligation of bylaw/police to follow up on it ?

There is a lot that comes down to just reporting them. Report them, nothing happens but it ruins my wife’s friendships. Also my kids friendships. It is a #### time for everyone.

The issue is lax government mandates. Get the QR code, increase fines etc. Telling on your friends and family puts us no further ahead and potentially leads to further issues in your life.

I don’t even think the friendship and being friends with liars is the number one issue.

By reporting them, you are potentially saving lives. By lying and showing up to an even like this, these scum are endangering the lives of albertans.

It’s like saying you wouldn’t report a drunk driver for fear of losing them as friends. Think about the potential victims, not about the minor inconvenience you’ll face.

Yep. The people around me had their masks off all game. Beer in hand so I guess that that qualifies as actively drinking? I was just talking to someone who wants cops in the stands to be watching everyone in attendance and to start arresting people who abuse the leeway to be able to eat and drink with their masks off. I'm speechless. Maybe from a public good perspective there should just not be fans in attendance yet

Personally I think it's ridiculous we are having fans at games right now. Having them get in with an easily forgable document, while exempting them from wearing masks while eating and drinking is incredibly irresponsible. I know everyone thinks they are vaccinated, so it's no big deal to do this, but it is a big deal. Propel will spread covid through these games. People are dying not able to get hospital care they need right now.


Just because our province is run by morons who can't acknowledge fact, have no heart or compassion, and zero scientific understanding of the issue, doesn't mean the Flames should be open to the public.

Wow I disagree wholeheartedly. We can't just shut down the province again because of people not being vaccinated and punish the people who did the right thing and got vaccinated. People clogging up hospitals are more than 90% unvaccinated. Let the vaccinated enjoy their lives, this can't go on forever.
