Flames haven't drafted and developed a Swedish forward since Backlund. Another LW too to boot. Quite underwhelmed.

Raty keeps falling… maybe the Sens take the flyer on him?

That’s the term ESPN used. Called him a grinder (who can score)
I’m not going to pass judgement on this pick though.

respectfully, you don't know what you're talking about. Read up on Stromgren, there's a lot of skill to work with.

On Strommgren: excerpts from the HP Black Book where he was #34
Hockey sense: 6
Compete: 6
Skill: 7
Skating 6:
Comments:
- Very high end skills but questions about how smart he is
- Played a smarter more pro game when he moved up
- Good potential but extremely raw
- Remarkable growth in his game through the season
- Needs to improve skating
seems like the biggest question is that scouts think he may be a little dim. Which is kinda funny

True story: One of the best hockey players ever was a little dim. Maybe more than a little. Nice guy though.

he's just turned 18. Sveningsson was still playing Swedish juniors at the time, so not a fair comparison at all.

Funny - they have said he’s a good skater in some analyses but needs to improve skating in others. I think he has skating tools but needs better technique maybe?

Wasn’t Kylington a top 5 projected pick at one time and ended up dropping to the second round? Or am I confusing him with someone else.
