Have only watched the highlights but I didn't like either goal against Rittich. He should have had both IMO.

I missed the first intermission, but did the panel spend the entire segment on the flames? Because literally 100% of the segment in the second intermission was about the Jets.
I could understand that if we were getting caved in, but I thought we had a decent period, even if the Jets got two.

I don't get the Gio hate.
Him and Anderson don't seem to compliment each other very well, but Gio is still a good player. His work on the PK has been great tonight.

It is hard to imagine 34 or 35 year old Backlund being very good so hopefully he gets grabbed in the expansion draft. Flames have a few boat anchor contracts over the next couple years to play through.

Gio's been burned by fast players, his work at the blue line has been mediocre (the "if I shoot it I score" mentality has to change, he had a marvellous season a couple years ago with this, but people are on to it), and his lack of footspeed for recovery after pinches etc has been obvious.
It's not hate. It's watching the guy and seeing him fail to realize that he needs to adjust how he plays at this point.
