Completely forgot that was this morning, thought it was Thursday.

Ah well probably didn't really need any jerseys anyways...a reverse retro pro would have been sweet though.

Haven't really shown off my collection before...but here is a view of all the jerseys in my Flames / Arcade themed basement.

I feel I preferred the old way for the GWJ…it was more like a lottery with 100 emails arriving at 10:00am….the anxiety was a slow burn and less likely to induce a heart attack.

I did everything I could beforehand to prepare:
-Bought a $1.49 pencil last night so my payment info was already saved.
-Plugged in an Ethernet Cable into my Laptop/No Wifi

I got the Andersson RR, Andersson Home, Lindholm Retro Road, and Derek Ryan Home/Away.

Ah you were the one who scooped the RR Andersson! I saw it disappear before my eyes. Site didn't load for me until 10:04am, by 10:05am pretty much every RR was gone except for Andersson, Leivo and Nesterov. Those were gone seconds later. I settled for a retro red Mackey.

Got a package in the mail today. It's from an awesome friend (not sure if he wants me to name him) who has connections within the business he rurns and was able get my Iginla jersery personaly signed by Jarome himself

Now I need to get it framed and hanging in my den

I don't see any signatures that resemble his

He only played 5 games in the AHL in 2006-07 and 3 more in the playoffs, so he likely wasn't there when the jersey was signed.

It looks like he wore #34 for the Knights that season, and I don't see that number on any of the signatures either.

They had a sale today through the online store. It was limited to STH I believe though. Also had the st pattys warm up at the same time.

Ah, yeah, makes sense. Around the time I was talking to the Flames about the project they indicated they would be interested in auctioning them off at some point. I think they were also planning on having some additional ones available to the public but I haven't heard anything further to that.

My own personalized Atlanta jersey might be my most treasured possession.

The Atlanta jerseys are ok, but based on the hype, I thought they were going to be more then practice jerseys with the A on them. I was hoping for a full on jersey.

The league and Adidas pretty much completely prevent teams from going beyond that template for warm-up jerseys.

I really liked what they did with the shoulder patches and the numbers.
